I'm glad I'm not the only moody person around. I'm getting sick of hearing myself snap at everyone in my path. I am 3 weeks post op and I'm getting sick of feeling tired, sore, and unable to do the things I want and NEED to do. Now I feel like I'm getting a bladder infection for no apparent reason and am getting frustrated about that too!.... RRrrrr. And to think... my doc said I was healing beautifully... RRRRRrrrr

I'm smiling just thinking of a little blue porche -- a gift from a loving hubby -- tooling around even if it is raining there!

Yes, I think I was having a little pity party.

I s ounderstand this one. My family is driving me nuts what do you mean you cant do everything yet.

I am about ready to kill my DH if one more time he complains about the house not being clean enough or his clothes are dirty. I just keep telling him he better go live with his mother cause I have my own children

I wish he would read this and maybe be more understanding.

I am separated frm my husband and while he was great during my surgery/hosp stay, he has pretty much disappeared again and i'm once again on my own w/2 kids w/disabilities. And then he comments to me when i'm cranky and questions WHY i'm being so cold!

I started spotting today out of NOWHERE and all NSDH could say was "OMG, you can't take it if you go to the hospital again". Never mind there was no coke in the house and my monitor had died. So got a friend to get me some coke, got on the recliner and just finished making myself 2 scrambled eggs for dinner. Guess it didn't occur to him I might be hungry.

I said the exact same thing about the urgency and burning! But apparently, with the surgery, things can change. This is day #3 on the antibiotic and my bladder is getting happy! Haven't had the pains this morning at all! I also tested negative at gyn, but that was an afternoon apt. and also a week ago. My internist said that it may have just been starting, but so far the antibiotic is working wonders. Now, do I go for the xray or not?

Now for my funny hubby story...
We are sitting in the living room watching TV. Hubby works part-time after retiring, so he has been home 5 days out of 7 since my surgery. Over the weeks, I've been reminding him of things that need to be done, floors, etc. He turns to me yesterday and says, "I think I need to work an extra day each week."
"Why do you say that?" I ask, thinking he's imagining a great vacation for the two of us, or the price of gas going up....
"Because since you're home I've been doing too much around here."
HAHAHAHAHa! Aren't they a pip?

Ladies, it doesn't necessarily get better when they get older!

Maybe I should stay home one more week to make that extra day at work happen...

Does it seem to anyone else that their bladder has suddenly been "super-sized?" I need to get right on the toilet when I wake up and then I void like there's no tomorrow -- it's so full that it's painful. As the bladder empties, then I get intestinal pain as well whether or not I have a BM. I'm wondering if this is normal. I think I'll start a new thread with this question and see what the veterans have to say. I had a.m. pain before the surgery -- I was just hoping that it would be done by now.

my bladder doesn't feel supersized, it just feels like the second after i go, i have to go again. Starting to drink some cranberry juice... maybe I'm developing a bladder infection... don't know... just annoyed that another new "thing" has popped up.
