Well Done me no smoking

Hi, Just thought I would share with you that I stopped smoking the day before my op. Over 5 weeks now. (THE REAL REASON) I was petrified that I would cough and burst my stitches.

You go, girl!

That is AWESOME! I am still smoking-am thinking about quitting but am afraid cigs are what keeps my mood level!! Maybe my head will start spinning around if I quit. Last time I tried to quit I was so miserable, even with the patch.
If no one else has said it, congrats and give yourself a pat on the back--and start planning how you are going to spend the money you are saving....

Well Done me no smoking

I quit smoking the day before my sugery also. I quit cold turkey. My DH still smokes. I do not allow it in the house but in the first few weeks of my quiting, I would ask him to smoke so I can smell it. I know that is not the right way to do it but it has been about 13 weeks and I now I have no desire for them.
