Kerr...I'm glad I could help. Research the Lupron well. I didn't like the side effects and thought this was the best way for me to go, and I don't regret it. It did take me some time to get here though, so please take care of your pains as best you can in the meantime.
Stay away from tile floors and tvs too!
Rest well.

I hope you that have had not a not so good day today all have a better day tomorrow. I haven't had the best of days either. Kept pushing myself to de-clutter things and clean some stuff and now feel yuk with some belly pain/discomfort and pretty discouraged about not being able to do as much as normal. If I can't do this how on earth am I going to manage work next week? I am also headed for a bath. Good night all.

I cleaned all day today because I go back to work Monday. I had to take a 1 and 1/2 nap today because cleaning made me so tired. I also wonder how I will be able to make it through my work days without napping???

Hi princesses!

Just came from the doctor, my uti has passed over to the kidneys, so I am having quite bad back pain and can't sit or lie down without some whining. (Laughing is the worst though, and I'm a big laugher, so you can imagine: "Haha ouch haha". )

He gave me some pills for this evening, (because we don't have a open pharmacy on sundays in our tiny town) and a prescription on suitable antibiotics. Yay... 1 week untill our vacation in Spain, and I'm on antibiotics. Doctor wasn't to pleased about me not getting this checked out earlier. But let me tell ya, I was so sure it wasn't anything to worry about. "No wonder you are feeling under the weather" he said, "this must have taken so much of your body's strenght to handle..". (And when he said that, I was so pleased, 'cause maybe I will be much better after I've finished this cure? )

He checked my tummy incision aswell, and was very pleased with the healing. Said: "Wow, it looks very, very nice! Has healed perfectly!" So that's good news.

Hadn't it been for my eldest DD which came to visit today, I wouldnt have went to the doc at all. I was sure it would pass in some few days. (Have had these pain for some 4 days now). She was really waving her index finger at me and said she would drive me to the local ER at once, as this was worrying her a lot.

So, there's a sunday story for you, from the stupid woman in Norway, which sometimes tolerate a bit too much, without consulting the doc.

Hope you are feeling fine today, and that you've had a splendid weekend.

Glad you got checked out - funny how we talk ourselves out of going to the Dr.

I am very anxious to see mine - I go on Tues for my post-op. I really want to hear that I'm healing well. I still have some bleeding and hope he will address that, as I've curtailed all my walking (except around the house) until he looks at me.

Overall, this has been a good week - I feel I'm on the mend EXCEPT I've got a darn hemmorhoid that's killing me. How unfair. Just starting to feel less discomfort down there and now I can barely sit. I actually took prescription pain meds for it yesterday. So I did a search on this site and found some tips on how to deal with hemmorhoids and I feel some relief today. I want to sit in a nice warm bath but I'm afraid since I'm still bleeding.

Other than that darn thing, I'm doing much better than 1 week ago.

Hope you are all having a good weekend.

today i had 6 hours of sitting - drive to church, bible study, church service, lunch at restaurant, movie. Whoa! not a good idea.

i took a 2 hr nap and am better now. i did have to take 800 mg Ibu. today. i get worried from taking all these anti-inflammatories for so many weeks. they're not good on the GI tract. i try to only use when the pain is really bad.

i look forward to working tomorrow. i work from home and i get to walk around the house as much as i need to - which helps.

betty: Yeah, I know. I'm an expert in talking my self out of going to dr. You got your surgery the day after I did, and I've had some pink discharge this week as well. Hope ypur check up will be perfect, sweetie. As of the hemmorhoids, I wish I could give you a good advice, but I've been having mine for 25 (!!) yrs, and are still struggling with those old evil things. Hopefully yours wont be as archeological as mine are.

Lavhmay: Now try not to overdo it, it's really not a good idea at all. Take it easy, one step at a time. Ok?

Hi Ladies
I've had a relaxing weekend. I found that my body decided I needed to take it easy. I couldn't seem to keep my eyes open today.
I think I'm developing a yeast infection. Should I see the doctor? Or treat it with OTC cream?
Betty, I too have the hemomorhoid issues but they've been bugging me for years. Hang in there hopefully they won't bother for too long.
My husband is getting real excited about my 6 week mark which will be on Wed. I've got to vent that I am REAL nervous about resuming relations again.
Thanks for listening.
Have a wonderful week sisters. Take care of yourselves.
