Confused...Yes, my hubby says I'm a big tease. I don't know about you guys, buy I have a really strong libido right now. I read it's normal.Any of you experiencing the same feelings? Regarding the cervix, my doc told me he kept "most" of my cervix for sexual function and pelvic floor support as I age. From what I understand, I still have a vaginal cuff and I know I have vaginal stitches. Doc told me they haven't begun to dissolve yet and should be completely dissolved at 6 weeks. When he examined me, he said they were all still intact. That's why the long wait for sex. I just don't know if the urologist or the ob/gyn did all the inward stitches. Maybe I'll never know.... Either way, I feel pretty good....today went shopping and did great. I have to think twice about lifting though. It's a bad habit I've had in the past and I'm not suppose to lift anything over 10 pounds for 6 weeks. I am not going to do anything to mess this surgery up now. Still getting weird pains...today it was on my right side above my incision. Yesterday it was the left side.

My Doc took 2" off the top also---I had AGUS pap results and it was to make sure the borders were clear.

5 Weeks!

I had a TLVA on May 30th and am one of the lucky ones, I have had no pain never needed pain meds and back to work light duty after 2 weeks with DR approval. I am having problems with circulation in one of my legs, and it gets cold suddenly and I loose feeling in my toes. Anyone else suffering from this?

Thanks

I just passed week 5 yesterday, all seems to be going well as long as I don't forget the no lifting rule. However, since I'm a compulsive cleaner and I hate to have to ask someone over and over to vacuum, I gave in the other day and did it myself. OK, it's an 8lb. Oreck, a bit over the 5lb. allowance, and yes, I had a little discomfort afterwords, but I have 3 dogs and the fur needed to leave my sight. I'll behave from now on. Other than that, every once in awhile I get this pinching in my lower hip bone area on both sides..weird? I go back to see my Dr. this Friday, and I'm so hoping he'll let me milk another week out of this before I go back to work. I only work 3 days a week, but it's so mentally draining that I dread going back just yet.
On a happy note, my ex (that lived next door to me for 6 years) moved out of state ( Thank you God!), I went to a Yankee game Friday night and they won, and then on Saturday while helping a friend audition actors for his next Indie film, I met Ken Jenkins (he plays Dr. Bob Kelso on "Scrubs", my favorite comedy) and got a pic taken with him. It was one of the best weekends of my life.
And, OMG, I'm having a hard enough time trying not to think about sex and I look here today and it's in every conversation. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one, lol! I can't wait to get the ok, especially since my birthday is just around the corner and I can't think of anything else that I want more right now! Wow, who'd of thunk it...usually I'd want a spa day, lmao!!! I hope everyone has a great 4th and is well on the road back to normalsville. Be well~

Just a little note to say Good morning and
Happy July 4th

Yesterday my dh got home from work and changed from his work shirt to a tee shirt and all it said on it was MARINES ( yes he was in the Marines years ago when I met him) well I told him he really looked Hot and Sexy in that tee shirt. And he told me that I was a Big Tease can you believe that? I guess I can not even compliment him without him telling me that then we laughed. It must be eating him up inside not being able to do anything.
I said we could do other things but it is all or nothing GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
Well then He Will Have To Wait LOL

Has anyone else had sore breasts? The last couple of days they have been so sore, and feel somewhat swollen. I had this shortly after my hys. , but I thought it would be gone after a few weeks. To describe the pain it's just like when I was having periods. I kept my ovaries, and if I still were having a period, it would have been 2 weeks ago. Oh well, hopefully it goes away soon.

This website has helped me so much! It has eased a lot of fears just knowing that we are all going through the same things! I'm so grateful for everything I have-a wonderful husband, great kids and sweet 1-yr old grandbaby (our first and she's a doll!) I'm also thankful for the wonderful medical team I had-the evening of my surgery brought some harrowing problems that landed me in ICU for 2 days-the medical staff was wonderful.

Have a Happy 4th and God bless.
