Thanks Sillydays, My hubby rubbed my neck down with Tiger Balm. It feels a little better. I've been out of sorts today, just lying around with a stiff neck, not feeling too well. My hubby and I decided that we were going to make a "date" once a month and even go out of town once a month to be romantic. A new, different part of our life when our kids are now grown. Not, it's time for us......tomorrow....3 weeks and 5 days left to go....

CJ
That sounds so nice
Take it easy Do you have a headache too? I have been having bad tension headaches and instead of taking Tylenol 4 I decided to ge Tylenol Tension Headaches and boy did that work I am tired of taking strong meds for my head pains for all these years. Now I can go to the cupboard and get normal stuff. I am so happy.
Please take care of yourself.

cj8867 I too have stomach cramps, constipation, and the colace I'm taking seems to give me loose bowel movements. I've been taking everything you can think of to get rid of the constipation but nothing has helped. Oh, the gastritis is better since I'm on the Nexium but I bet once I go off that will be acting up too. The gastritis makes my stomach cramp, too. I can't wait until I get back to "normal". Also, you're too funny regarding the "sex"!

Found out that it is very soothing and therapeutic, too if we massage each other (with our spouse). It is better than the massaging chairs and more romantic. It is recommended to massage the shoulders of our teenagers or give them a loving pad or hug once in a while to help dissipate their stress and show our affection to them. Sometimes we tend to forget these things because we might feel that they are too big to do that. It helps with the communication also. Ah! also, it is great to be able to cook and clean once again without feeling exhausted or hurt. Still trying to take it easy, but it is good to be able to feel useful again. Goodnight, ladies.

Sillydays, I'm sorry that you were so sad about mom. I know that's tough to deal with, and I'll be sure to keep her in my prayers.
Now, on another note, I just caught up to everyone in the "Ooh, some inner stiches came out" party. Guess I'm a late bloomer. It was really an weird thing to see. Ok, that's my excitement for the day. Everyone have a great day!

Hi Sisters
Hope you all had a great day.
Well today is my last day of only working 1/2 days and it is back to full days tomorrow. Bummer!
My mom went in for an MRI scan on her head to see if she has any blockage from a stroke or anything. She does have a hard time remembering. DS and I did take her shopping for a very short time but it just wasn't the same as a year ago. I felt like I was with a ghost. I really miss my mom the way she used to be ( tears are flowing now). I Love Her So Much I Hate To See Her This Way And I Feel So Bad For My Dad. It is taking a toll on him. I wish there was more I could do I call them about 5-6 times a week. Everytime I see my mom my Heart Breaks For Her. I am Sorry about the venting again.

Talking about the stitches I have never seen any of mine come out. Is that weird but dr said that is ok.
Isn't it great to beable to be pretty much back to normal now? I cook and everything but the problem is I run out of ideas of what to cook and when I ask dh and ds they say FOOD.
Big Help aren't they?
Thank you again for letting me vent.

Sillydays,
There's never a need to apologize for venting, especially when you're feeling sad. I think everyone can understand that it hurts to see someone you love not being the person your used to. I had much of this same conversation yesterday with one of my sisters (I have 9 siblings). My mom is 86, and God bless her, she could probably still kick most of our butts, lol! I'm the one who deals with her most of the time because I live the closest and I notice all the little changes that sometime make me sad to see. However, this is ultimately the game of life, and as hard as it is to deal with, we have to accept that there will be many changes that are hard for us to watch as our parents grow older. All you can do is be there for them, pray for them, and try to make things as normal as possible so they always feel comfortable and safe. You have every right to vent and feel sad for you and for for her...and well, for anyone you wish. It may be really difficult, but try to enjoy each moment and focus on what's special about your time together that you share, and hopefully it will make it all easier.
And hey, trust me when I tell you you're not missing much by not noticing the stiches..I think I would have liked to pass on that discovery myself.

Indeed! My mom always tells me that when I was born she said I was going to be her "old age" baby...and no truer words were spoken. Every time she says it now, I joke with her and tell her that she should have said I was going to be her "millionaire baby" instead!

Do you guys get stomach cramps? Perhaps it's the colace I take for 2 more weeks but I get such horrible stomach cramps and feel constipated....so I really don't want to sto the colace. I mean double over holding your side stomach cramps, then I'll pass a small amount of gas....then my hubby laughs and says, "all that for that little thing"..... sorry, TMI, but man, these cramps today are killing me. Do you guys experience that at all?
