Next day and feeling better

Well my friends, I still dont feel 100%, still a little fragile, but I am feeling so much better. Today I had a community nurse visit and she was here for a good 2 hours , just talking. Apparently, what I am feeling emotionally is quite normal. Like a let down after the treatment has finished and all the what ifs... you know like what if it is still there etc. And I thought I was going nuts. I still feel nauseous and my liver has really taken a beating in this last year , with all the anaesthetics and radiation etc, so I am drinking lots and lots of water to flush it out. My bladder is settling down. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And even the ovaries dont get 'killed off' straight away so it can take awhile to have any symptoms of menopause if I get any So tomorrow I will feel even better. Ahhhhhhhhhhh

Next day and feeling better

's Robyn!!!

So glad the nurse was there to visit you and ease your mind somewhat. And its just a matter of time before you are completely healed from the lousy side effects, and you will feel like a whole new healthier you!!!

You have done it, and of course you are going to have "what if's", we all do. But you know they will be keeping a close watch on you for a very long time to come.

I truly think and pray that the worst is over for ya !!!

Lots of love and hugs!!!
M xoxo

Next day and feeling better

Robyn--

I am glad that you are feeling better - it will be all uphill from here. I also had the letdown that you are talking about -- its like "now what do I do?" When I was talking to my counselor last week, he told me that in the end, I would recognize that the whole treatment experience would be a blessing. I told him that I keep asking the Lord the meaning behind all of this and I still don't know. He told me to think of the post treatment period as your personal 'Holy Saturday' before your resurrection. That really gave me a lot of food for thought. I'm probably getting too heavy here, but it's something that I can't get out of my mind. Maybe we are all going through our 'Holy Saturdays' together....

Anyway, I am glad you are feeling better. You are now on the road to recovery!!!

Love,

Cyndy

Next day and feeling better

{{Robyn}}

I'm so glad you're feeling a bit better today! Each day will be better than the last! Drinking lots and lots of water will be a good thing for your body. Just see all those sides effects wash out of your body!

I'm so glad you were able to talk to the nurse. It helps so much to know that what you're feeling is perfectly normal considering the circumstances! I pray that one day, all of us are able to get past the "what-ifs". At least on a day to day basis, while I know it will probably never go away completely, I'm sure one day it will lessen for us all.

Take care, keep resting and healing like a good

Big {{hugs}} to you gal!

Vicki

Hugs Robyn

Hi Robyn
So glad to hear your doing better. Its nice to hear from someone that your worries and fears are a normal, and that your getting better. Cancer is such a scary word, and with it always comes "what if's" but life is that way too, just take on one day at a time, stop to smell the roses, and dont sweat the small stuff. Your cancer free girl....chin up....take a vacation from your worries and enjoy life.....Hugs to you Robyn.....
