too funny
My mother had a TAH/BSO 8 years ago. I went with her to a dr. appointment about having a hip replacement yesterday. I thought I should go since I will be taking care of her and I needed to know how much physical support I would need to be giving her since I will be the care giver in this situation. That would be all I would need--compromise my healing to help her with hers!! Anyway, the funny thing was she went in to get an X-ray. She told the nurse, joking of course, that she was 66, had a hysterectomy and thought she might be pregnant. THE NURSE BELIEVED HER!!!! The nurse went and got the doctor and asked him what she should do! I know she is an orthopedic nurse, but shouldn't she know the basics of the human body??? I had to share it here since so many of us understand!!!!
