Help! I have been on Prempro for 3 1/2 months now. In the last week I have been extremely moody! I go from ok to total ***** in less than a minute! I am yelling at my kids and arguing with my DH over NOTHING!!! Should I call my dr or give it some more time?

Thanks in advance! Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth!

Up until a week ago were you feeling okay on your Prempro? If so, I would wonder if there have been any changes that could have affected how you were doing. Hormone levels can be affected by stress, illness, other medications, changes in exercise level, etc. Have you had any changes like these? If not and you're not seeing any improvement on your current dose, I think calling your doctor would be a good idea.

I hope you feel better soon! Let us know how you're doing, okay?

April Dawn~

I got a sinus infection, but I didn't start any antibiotics until Friday. Nothing else has changed! I'm still not sleeping well and I have a headache all day-everyday! Maybe I should just wait until I'm done with the antibiotics and see if I feel better!

Thanks! Elizabeth

(((Elizabeth))), antibiotics have always affected my hormone levels. There are other Sisters who have experienced the same. I always ride out the symptoms without adjusting my hormones. After the course of antibiotic treatment my levels return to normal. I think it's better to wait it out rather than adjust the dose while being treated with the antibiotic. Hopefully you'll be like me and things will level off after the treatment is done.

I'm sending more s and some , too.
