pj2007.... Don't worry about what others are doing. You take care of yourself and listen to your doctor. Only do what you feel is comfortable....and i don't blame you or hubby for wanting to wait. I' m absolutely terrified just thinking about the first time Be careful on the stairs

Witchiepoo...The dr. has me on Climara (lowest dosage) which i don't think is quite as bad as some. But i am planning on asking him if there are any more natural things i could be taking. I'm also planning on searching the internet for other options. I'll let you know if/when i find anything out. I don't go back til next week. Like you, i'm all for the more natural way

Went back to work this week - by Wednesday I was totally whipped and by Friday afternoon I couldn't concentrate on anything - I just want my life back - I'm the only "able" bodied one in my house, and it's really starting to take it's toll on my house with me being so out of whack! I'd love to keep up with all of you as well - I have a bulletin board set up on my own server that is just sitting idle - if anyone from the 6/1 - 6/25 group would like the address so we can stay in touch, just send me a private message

Hello all~
I made it to the first part of my trip to pick DD . It was not so bad driving alone for 4 hours. Tomorrow I do another 5 and then monday back home for another 4, whew, I am tired just talking about it.
I hope we all can stay in touch too! I thought I read that there is another web site through Hystersisters that we are encouraged to go to? We can start a thread there and keep up like we do here. I know I am not ready to let you all go yet.
Have a great night.

I remember reading something on the site too. After 8 wks. this thread is gone BUT I think if we start a new thread/new title and let us all know what it is we can go there and post till our hearts content.

I'm glad your trip is going good too. In no time you'll be with your DD .... sure you'll give her plenty &

This link will take you to the Hystersisters Clubhouse forums:

https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/forumdisplay.php?f=204

One of your group should go there, click NEW TOPIC, and start a chat thread. Title it so you'll know at a glance that it's your thread ("June 18 - 25 chat" or something similar).

Please don't use your new chat thread to ask questions about your recovery. If you have questions about your surgery/recovery, start a NEW thread in the Post Op forum.

I'm happy to see that you want to continue your friendships.

Don't forget to visit the PreOp and PostOp forums to lend your experience to the newer members.

Hi everyone,

I'm am glad there will be a new place for us to meet after this thread goes away.

Derisree, I have added your Mom to my prayers.

Toni, I have never walked in your shoes so I can't quite find the right words to say but please know that my hope for you is that your find your inner strength and happiness comes to you.

Ok, now for the dirt, TMI, etc. To quote Pepperoni, I too crossed the final fronteir on Friday. Almost immediatley we realized that the ole girl ain't what she used to be . She is actually shorter, the cuff is almost like a barricade. We adjusted accordingly and I have to agree with Pepporoni that I had NO IDEA how uncomfortable the entire act had become prior to surgery. It does not hurt anymore!!! Mr. Fibroid must have been the one causing the discomfort. AND.......no more blood afterward. Now for the issue. We need to relax to have the whloe "process" play out properly. My DH was way too worried about me. Well, at least we can practice whenever we want. I posted something about my shortened state of affairs in another thread and someone responded that things will stretch back to normal after af ew weeks. Something to look forward to.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

PS - Boy, could we ever use spell check on the posting portion of this. So far, I have edited twice to correct my fuzzy brain mistakes. Please excuse any I missed!
