DH Quotes

Maybe this doesn't quite apply but;

After waking from a 5+ hour adhesion and LSO with a full abdominal incision (was to be a 'quick look around with possible endo removal), DHs first words to were:

'In the grand scheme of things, this was no big deal'

My response:

'This IS a big deal'

DH Quotes

My DH quote happened just minutes ago. I've been pretty much leaving HysterSisters pulled up on the laptop in the living room whenever I'm home. With my surgery date getting closer, it's been nice to check in and see how everyone is dealing with the same stuff I'm going through. I had pulled up a post about someone's DH trying to get her waders so that she could get in the pool and tend to the kids at 3 weeks post-op, but left the room to go make lunch without closing the laptop.

OK, so a few minutes ago, he comes up to me and asks what "DH" means. I raised my eyebrow at him and asked him why he wanted to know. He tells me that he just read the wader post and wanted to know if DH meant a word that starts with a D and ends with Head. I just burst out laughing, and told him it meant "Dear Husband." His response? "Well, in the context of that post, my idea works too!"
