Hi UofM, I've been reading some really great Christian novels by the author Lori Wick. They are wonderful and have helped me relax during the day when i know I must rest. If you like reading, look for one of her books

UofM, you're smart to take it easy today (and maybe the rest of the week if you can). I know what you mean about the internal pulling. What I feel is hard to describe...it's more in the vaginal area and feels like a tightening way up high. Is that what you're experiencing?

I'm still not doing much. I walk a little each day but other than that I'm pretty low-keyed, mostly working on computer things, reading, etc.

Pamper yourself today.

I've had the low vaginal pulling sensation too. At least that's where it started. It's moved up a bit higher right above my c section scar and to the side a bit. Things are healing up I guess.
Took the 3 kids and the baby to the library today to turn in thier summer reading sheets. THey get prizes after every 5 hours that they read. The baby fell asleep shortly after we got there, so I told everyone to make themselves comfortable with a book or in the media room because we were staying put until she woke up. I pulled a crochet book off the shelf and learned a new stich. (Yarn aholics always cary hooks or needles and a ball or two of yarn with them at all times!)
Treated ourselves to McAlister's Deli afterward.
Feeling almost normal today. Starting to notice how much cleaning has gon undone over the last three weeks. The girl's room is especially a wreck. Whole bunch of naked Barbies all over the place. You'd think they were running a nudist collony in there! I plan on taking a chair to the doorway of thier room and sitting there with a lasar pen. I point at toys with the light, and the girls pick it up and put it where the light leads them. I don't end up bending down all afternoon, and they learn how to organize thier room.

Hugs,
Lori B

Finally starting to feel a little bit of energy today. I should it's 3:30! Couldn't sleep last night and was up until 4 am. We actually made lunch together before he had to leave for work. That was nice, we always cook together and we haven't had a home cooked meal in over a month!

Uglyhat, that laser pen idea is great! It would be fun for the children and helpful for you.

Morti, I'm with you on the sleep issue. I used to sleep straight through the night with no problem. But since this operation I get up to use the bathroom at 5:00 am and then can't go back to sleep no matter what I do. That's after not getting to bed until after midnight. I thought if I stayed up longer it would help, but it didn't.

I hope when I get started on estrogen it will go back to normal.

Faint

Does anyone get faint when they bend down? Like today shaving my legs in the shower. When I stood up I thought for sure I was going down. It has happened to me before too like feeding the dog and bending down I get dizzy or feel faint. Has anyone had such a thing?? It's kind of scary.

]Yes. It's happened to me when I've been kneeling down or bending over. Especially when I've been kneeling bathing the baby. I have one of the older kids or my DH get her out for me now because I get so light headed when I first get up off the floor.
My thinking is maybe low blood presure
