Mine too at night gets worse. When I first get up it's not bad but now I went for a long walk and I can feel it a little more and by the end of the night it really aches. I am trying 3 Advil after I walk to see if that helps. I going also with my husband to the mall so I will be doing more walking. Hope you have a great Sunday

Feeling pretty good...

I haven't posted anything lately...I guess I'm feeling pretty good most of the day. My energy levels are balancing out. I think last week was my "ghost period" but my ovaries decided to give me a bit of PMS. Anyways, DH and I went out Friday night (my idea for a date, his choice of place...sports bar) anyways as we walked on sidewalk to the front doors...my sandal got caught on the edge of the sidewalk and I ungrafeully fell on my hands and knees. I ended up with bruised knees and of course my pride was a bit misplaced. Thankfully no one was outside at the time. I was thankful that I was almost 6 weeks post-op...I did not want to imagine what it would have felt like any sooner than that. So, the point of telling you this...I think I have read that a few others have had feelings of faintness. Since this surgery I seem to get a swooning feeling at times. Not sure what is causing it. Any ideas? I generally am well balanced physically.

Happy healing to ya'll. Life is getting better! So is the fun in the bedroom.

I purchased the ones that are mid thigh to waist and mid-thigh to middriff. They also have ones like regular panties on the website I believe. spanx.com

I am thinking of purchasing them before heading back to work. Do they roll on you at all or do they stay in place?

Best Day Ever!

All I can say is this has been the best day ever! Took a walk around the park with DH. Went to Michaels to frame a picture, went to the mall and had an early dinner at the Olive Garden. It has been the most comfortable day I have had since my surgery. I did take 3 Advil after my walk so I could get rid of the aches in my legs and carry on with my day and it WORKED! I pray tomorrow will be the same. Have a good night sisters!!

Finally Feeling better!

I am finally feeling like my old self. I am not as exhausted! Yeah...I am able to walk on my treadmill for about 30 min. and trying to increase incline or time each day... I definitely need it. Got so much more flabbier after surgery. Haven't had any pain or the pain in the joints that others are mentioning.. I didn't have my ovaries removed so I am hoping that I don't need hrt for a while. Hope you are all feeling better and having a GREAT recovery!!!

Hi to all!

I'm so sorry to hear about the aches and pains some of you are experiencing. Hopefully your dr will have the answers for you whether it be hrt or just something that will eventually work its way out.

Remember when some of us were having lots of back pain? That eventually went away for me and believe me, at the time I was hurting. But now my back is fine. I hope it will be the same for your pains.

I had a good day today too but still didn't do much, just a little walking and one outing. But tonight I can't sleep. This is the part that drives me nuts.

We're getting a little better everyday. Thank goodness. School starts soon and there's so much to do. I NEED to be in shape!

Take care everyone.

Looking for a sister who had a bladder repair along with her hysterectomy. Can't seem to get rid of my infection and my bladder continues to go into spasms. Going to the bathroom every 2 hours even during the night. Anyone with advise????

I sure have not forgotten the back problems. It still aches me some but nothing compared to what I had earlier.

The sleep thing can be the worst. If you don't sleep you just can't feel like doing too much because your body is too tired. I don't know what I would have done if my doctor did not prescribe Lunesta. It's the best! No side effects, I don't wake up with any problems and when I take it my mind does not get all foggy or anything I just get comfortable :bedjump: and then just fall to sleep. I am waking up during the night less and less.

When do you see your doctor again? Maybe there is something they can do for you, HRT even??

Call1952 you might want to make a new post with that type of surgery if you don't get answers here. That sounds terrible. I still get pain at the end of urination and I have been checked twice for infection and did not have one but I see my surgeon on the 23rd and I plan on finding out what's going on.

I hope all have a good day today.
