I had my 6 week check up today. Everything was perfect. I can resume all activities--the bad part was that I can go back to work. At least I have until Monday for my last few days of freedom.

Work comes too soon!! I am asking that I get scheduled part-time for at least the first few weeks. Look it's 2:00pm and I am worn out! The pocket book hurts though.....

It's good to hear your doing well

6 Week checkup!

I had my checkup this morn. Everything is healing well, better than what he expected. yeah!! All released and don't need to go back unless I have any problems....Hopefully it stays that way. I have to keep reminding myself to not overdo it..Hope you all have good checkups too.

I had my checkup this afternoon and was released to do whatever I felt up to doing. I go back to work Monday and am a little nervous about that. He said everything looked good and had healed up nicely. I go back in a year.

I'm worried

I'm so glad that so many of you are getting a good report from your drs. It's encouraging to hear.

I'm concerned because I have been leaking urine and today it was more than it had been. Is anyone else experiencing this? I just hope it's something that can be taken care of either through hrt or kegels or something. I just wanted to be done with everything.

I see the dr on Friday.

I am so sorry that things are working strange for you. I don't have that, but I do have pain still at the end of urinating which worries me. I am going to start a new thread and you should too. At least you see your doctor Friday. I don't see mine until next week. Maybe call and ask for your doctors nurse? She may have some information for you.

I hope today goes better for you, hang in there.

Today was my 3rd 1/2 day back at work. It's nice to have a purpose again! I'm suprised that I've had no problems getting up in the mornings after sleeping in for so long. Feeling ok, but still not near the energy I normally have. I've been off all narcotic pain killer for about a week and just taking advil. I'm even starting to sleep normal again. I think being back at work, even if it is only part time is helping. Still spotting, but nothing bright red unless I over do it.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Back from dr

Hi girls,

Just got back from the dr's and he said I was healing fine but had to use silver nitrate to cauterize an area. Now I have a lot of discharge and some spotting. It probably is just irritated from probing.

He also put me on the estrogen patch Climara which made me happy. When I asked him about how I am leaking urine he didn't seem concerned and said that sometimes the bladder is traumatized and that it could take up to 3 mos. to calm down. He said there was no sign of a fistula which was one of my concerns.

He said I could do normal activities, even carrying groceries, but to ease into it. No lifting really heavy things.

Now for the bad news..........He said no sex for another month! He wants to see me again in 4 weeks. Poor DH was not too happy.

Hope all of you are doing well. Just wanted to give you my report.
