Is anyone having soreness where the staples were or rather on the left side of your lower abdomin?

It will be 5 weeks since my complete hysterectomy tomorrow, and my left side is STILL very sore, to the point that NOBODY better touch it.

EEK!

It's raining so badly here in MN. 5-7 people in southern MN have lost their lives overnight and one entire town is totally flooded, houses gone from foundations, roads out, the works. Like I said this has been a horrible month for MN. On 'good news' they found another victim of the bridge today in his car.........so now the only person missing from the bridge collapse is a worker who was in some vehicle...........I wonder if they will be able to find him as he wasn't enclosed in a car, I don't think. What a sad, sad month. There was a tiny window today where I walked six laps and then when i picked up my granddaughter torrential rains were falling. Teen wants ride to friend's and i made her wait an entire hour plus in hopes the water will recede enough to make it from point A to B. We have storms forcast thru Wednesday. After seven months of drought, now this. Hoping you are all safe and praying for people under water and high wind the world over..............E. Heal heal heal....................

Today was my first Sunday back to church and I prayed that we all continue to heal well. My church family was glad to see me too.

Let's take a poll, who else besides me will be returning to work FT. Or at least, I am supposed to. I have decided to work 6 hrs this week Mon-thurs. Off fri. Even though my dr. released me to begin work last Wed, Thurs, PT and begin full time tomorrow, I will be using vacation hrs for the week and work 6 hrs instead of the 10.

EEK!

Maybe you have a stubborn stitch that didnt dissolve all the way or a lost staple is logged in under your skin making it abscess? I would have it checked out big time!!

when I had my 3 week check-up, my doctor TRIED touching the area where the soreness is to remove some surgical tape, and she said, "I can tell you are still sore around here."

It feels like the soreness is coming from INSIDE.
