Oh to be 142 lbs again. I'm 5'3" and 163 lbs. And only a 38C so you know where the rest of that weight is. It's all in my belly! I went into surgery at 171 lbs, so that's ome improvement. Apperantly I lost it all in the face. Someone asked me if I lost weight, cause my face looked thinner. Guess them jowls were bigger than I thought. She could at least have said my stomach looked smaller. Oh well, you can't expect couth from a teenager. Some of the ladies at my church have a weight loss compitition started. We put in a dollar a week. Whoever loses the biggest percentage wins the pot. There is also a second and third place. I started walking this week with a couple of friends from church. We do 1.5 miles around the cemetary in about 30 minutes. Definately breaking a sweat. Glad they know CPR.

pain on the left side...

Sorry about the hyster sister who had to put her cat to sleep. We had to put our cat to sleep last year, she was 19.
I hope everyone has a good day tomorrow.
I went back to going to the bathroom all morning again yesterday and today. I thought the hysterectomy and getting those two big fibroids out would take care of that. I don't know what's up. I also have a pain on my left side. When I went for my post op a week and a half ago, I asked for a urine test to see if I had an infection and I didn't. That is why I am hesitating to call the doctor again.
ahhh geez debbiefej, both myself and Byfaith are having pain on the left side. isnt that weird? I've not been tested for any bladder infection, no urine tests. sometimes it hurts a little (like pressure on my bladder) when i go to the bathroom. I hope you feel better.

checking in

Hi Ladies,
Thank you for your thought on Bosey, our cat. It is quieter in the house without him. the two dogs don't have him to tease anymore, and they do miss his presence. They just KNOW he is gone for good. Wierd how they know that.

I am tired tonight. My bottom is sore again. It kindof feels like a mislodged tampon. He said it could be a mild rectocele. i see him in 4 weeks again. It feels so much better on those days that I do nothing. (Saturday and Sunday up north). But that definately isn't the world we live in, so,I will wait it out.

I have had two colonoscopies. I did not think it was baad at all. Hate the prep. I am 43. I have problems with internal and external hemmorioids. (Bleeding)Runs in the family
I kindof think thaqt is why I am having the problem with the pain on my bottom. I think it is connected in some way. My bowels have been funky lately too. I thought they were wierd right after surgery and it does not seem like it is getting back to normal. Probably will have to have one again in a few weeks he said if he doesn't figure out what the bottom pain is.

As far as the cuff...I think of it as a string drawn purse. Cinch sack. It is called a purse suture.

For all of you having a hard time back to work, I feel for yu. I only worked a few hours tonight and I feel it. It is not as bad as last week tho.

Those of you having a hard time, I think we have all taken our turn! I thank you for being there for me, sisters. I tell everyone that asks me what was most helpful, HYSTERSISTERS. COM. You have every reason to feel down. You are going through alot and want to be normal again! Thats right...what is normal? I feel like it has been an etrnity.

Well, I hope I covered all the posts.
Rest everyone, and I wish yu all a sleepful night!

Hello Sisters

It's Wed. I could barely crawl out of bed. And I have gassy stomach pains and the chest ache already and I'm barely cramming in breakfast, filling the water bottles, trying to remember to make my bag lunch, trying to read the paper and turning on the computer and writing to you and I'm OUTTA HERE for work.

1. I hope my computer works at school today.
2. I hope all the aches and pains stop.
3. I will think of all you ladies today.
4. I'm glad I get to go see the OB on Friday to ask more questions.
5. I'm sure i've got a cuff in there from how he described the surgery.
6. I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day even though you are all still hurting as you heal, too, and some are dealing w/side illnesses like the bronchitis and allergies etc. Me, I live in a house that believe it or not has MOLD and even black MOLD that grows in the BATHROOM which I have NEVER seen in my life, ever in ANY of the multitude of houses and countries i've lived in. I know this mold affects my DD and me. I swab the bathroom walls w/bleach but this summer............nope, i haven't gone up on the little chair to swab bec. i'm worried about stretching out/damaging the healing inside.

Well, that's enough about yukky stuff..........HEAL HEAL HEAL my sisters. Take care today. I will get to school by 7:15 i hope and finish teaching at 4:15. Ah, I'm happy I have work in this tough world. E

Crossroads you are a HOOT. Walking around a cemetery of all places. Yikes!A sweet reminder that we could end up there sooner than we all will if we don't take care of ourselves?

I awoke to gassy pains and my chest pain and I had barely crawled out of bed. However, I am not surprised w/all the stretching and pushing and pulling and lifting i did at my college yesterday. UGH it was awful by my terms.

Today I work 7:15 until 4:15 plus grading. Plus 'life' outside of it all. It will be a long day. I had trouble crawling out of bed. And I am a tad behind. Next week at this time I'll also have Dteen to contend w/as school bus pickup for her is 7:05 a.m. Shock of shocks. I don't know why school can't start later for those kids.

Well....I anxiously await my Fri. appt w/OB/surgeon to ask my questions re: aches/pains/knots and to see how he feels the heeling is going and to get the schedule for my 3 mon. checkups for the rest of this year.

I have not been walking laps at all. I get home and think, how could I go another half mile?? Even w/the beautiful weather we are finally getting. I see all the other people walking and think, 'how did i do that?' And I SHOULD be walking after dinner, but just cannot do it. I am very tired out. Must be the age. Oh, and the surgery?

A great Wed. to all my sisters as you continue to heal. Take care. I always think of you all during the day and it gives me strength.

P.S. I wonder how SunnyBahrain is doing. I think of her a lot.....she had so much trouble before but she must be doing nicely now! I must think of her a lot bec. I teach ESL!!

Good morning everyone!! Goodluck to all that head off to work today.

I'am going to watch five babies today for a dear friend she does at home day care. She has a significant lump in RT Breast and has a mammo/sono today. I have been worried about her. She is 34 my age and has 2 kiddos my older DD's best friend. So I'am going to ask ya'll to put her in your prayers. Her OBGYN was concerned enough to send her to a diagnostic center specializing in breast cancer. The Breast Center did tell her that only one out of ten lumps ends up being breast cancer. But that still seems high.

Have a good day all!!

My Grandmother had a double masectomy by age 40. She lived with lymphoma the rest of her life. She died right after turning 85.I have had a mammogram every year since turning 35.
