Simply,
You are right. Something might be wrong especially if you are lubed up. Especially if you have had 2 vaginal deliveries in the past. Maybe, you are not relaxed enough. Maybe watch some porn or something to get u started. You also just might not be in the mood yet. If you have tried all the above and are really interested in having sex and it keeps hurting, call your doctor. It might be an infection.
i had the infection at 2 weeks. Was checked and cleared at 4 weeks. Went back in at 6 weeks, no infection and I have to go back at 10 weeks for another evaluation. Normally with his vag hyst. we are to see him at our 4 week postop check. I will have seen him 5 times by the time i am FINALLY released.

Boy, I teach relaxation and breathing by profession... you think it would come easier to me. i am still sore on my bottom. I am always aware of it, it isn't just when we have sex.

We did have a superglue commraderie while awaiting our visits to the castles and our immediate returns home, didn't we?

I think about SunnyBahrain and that throbbing leg. I wonder if she had swelling/heat........that would be signs of a clot for sure. Some of the sisters are having a hard time at the recovery phase.

Well...................off I go. A good Tuesday to you all. It's gonna freeze, literally, tonite in MN (frost warning)........how we go from 90 down to 30 in one week is beyond me. Brrrrrrrrrrrr.
i hear you ELE-It is downright cold out there. Air conditioning on one week to the furnace on the next.

off to walk all bundled up!

Okay sisters this is what happened. I had my colonoscopy, after having that test it interrupted my bowel and I ended up getting diverticulitus (severe and painful) diagnoised yesterday. I guess from the prep it can mess with the bowel. I am on 1000mg of ciprofloxacin and 1000mg of metronidazol daily (antibiotics) for 10 days. Liquid diet for three days. Went back to the Dr. this AM to check the white count again and the meds are working. So painful that I am BACK ON PEROCET. I feel terrible! I just need to hang in there.

Can it get any crazier??

Wow Byfaith

Wow, that is a sad colonoscopy story, Byfaith. I feel very sad for you because that isn't the way a colonoscopy is supposed to go and we were all rootin' for you telling you how easy it would be. Do you also have to have one every 5 years bec. of how it turned out? That's too sad. I send you a million s and I am glad to read that the medicines the doctor is using are helpful. I didn't know the prep could do that to the bowel. I will remember you ten years from now when I do my next one!! Will you have to wait one more week to be released to work or even longer? Well, hang in there. I can send you about 14 percocets if you run out. I didn't use too many of mine.

One more to you.......

Thanks E...no, I still don't have to have another one for another 10 years. Having diverticulosis is not a problem until something goes wrong. That would be diet (which is something I pride myself on). I am the double fiber bread girl, fruits, veggies and making sure I am regular. I guess the cleansing process of the test can be hard on the diverticula and that is why it turned into diverticulitus. After the test the Dr. said that the entire colon has diverticulosis, I was suprised, and he said it is hereditary, at that time it was not inflammed or infected. By the second day the pain started. By Sunday night I had 103 temp and I was in extreme pain.

So here I am waiting to heal inside (over a test) which REALLY I probably didnt need because they were looking for endo or colitus due to the thickening. Thanks for the perc E but hopefully I won't need the 40!!! my doctor gave me!! But I know I will need a few. BIG to you for your support. I am glad I have you sisters.

E ~ You're NOT going anywhere...and neither am I...maybe just less frequent! OK!

I wish you and DD the best with her hs work...of my 3 kids (20,18,16years old) the 2 oldest are boys and they barely needed any direction all throughout school, now the youngest my dd OMG she has been struggling since 1st grade it seems...and I did nothing different with any of them, she is a Jr. in highschool this year and already has 2 classes to retake (from last year) before graduation next year...she is all about everything except the school work itself...social butterfly for sure...she is in the vocational field this year for Business Management and loves it...it is the first half of the day and with basically the same kids and teacher all morning...keeping my fingers crossed she keeps liking it cause it is only the first few weeks into school...you know how that goes...they don't sit at regular desks they have office type tables and their own computer, adding machine, can put out pics and stuff, computer chair etc...of course she thinks that's all cool LOL...anyway...I know thought exactly what you mean...all her classes this year and next have to go like clockwork cause no more room for error...pressure's on!

Well ladies...I think work is trying to do me in...this new job we're on now is sooooo huge and HEAVY! Each box has 30 cases in it and weigh just barely under 50lbs, ummm let's see, we have 4,500 cases to unpack, work on, pack back up and lift onto skids, I don't even want to talk about it anymore, just wanna forget it til tomorrow! But it is a killer for sure!!! And it all needs shipped this Thursday
Feeling fine thru it all but man o man I'm about at my limit and we're only thru about 1,000 and tomorrow's Wednesday already!

Oh well, I'll live, chances are the next job will be a sitting one then we'll be complaining out butts hurt LOL!

Just a thought, do you all think maybe those still sensitive/hesitant to X yet might be vaginal hyster vs. abdominal by chance?

Well take care all, will try to get back in tomorrow evening!

Gemini: you are probably right about the x....i had TVH and can't even think about it...........even w/the circumstances of partner issues.........so you might be on to something there. That might be an interesting thread to start: whether it made a dif starting depending on if TVH or TAH. Never thought about it.

No, not going anywhere..........just trying to help out/get work done/etc.

DDyounger just came home; time to help her w/homework. Big DD is crabby. I taught my granddaughter the term "PMS" tonight and explained what it meant but don't know if a 9 yr old grasps it. Mommy/DD is pretty crabby tonite, though! Good grief.

Off I go. I did walk to Target from home....so that was a good little walk and carried home my stuff (didn't get tooooo much) and walked a little today w/a coworker. Still get those pesky knots, though. Oh, and actually cooked a fast healthy dinner. Miracles will never cease.

Tomorrow I must go to a family dinner and also work/teach until 4:15 so no promises about checking in......it is going to be a late night, even if it is midweek.

Hoping our plants don't all freeze tonight..................your faithful trooper...E

Wow gemini what do you do for a living? Sounds like a lot of physical work.

I know we all have talked about the X thing. For me really the only reason I have yet to is I wanted it to be at a time I felt good again and out of pain. My DH has been patient and we have talked about it. He knows with everything I have gone through lately. Hopefully this will be the last thing and by the end of this week I will feel better. All the antibiotics have me feeling very sick to my tummy. I put my ills in the recovery area.

This area is more fun
