Hope everything goes well on your test Phil!! Seems strange having to go through so much. I was on tramadol for a little while before surgery and your right it does not seem to help much. I am still having pain today I can't wait until it gets better.

Tried cleaning my closet today, did you notice I said tried. Could not finish. I just get wore out! I am just not myself. I will finish the job tomorrow. My last day off. I don't know what I will do on Tuesday with work. Standing and running
around all day. My DH is worried too along with my father-in-law.

I went for a walk with our beautiful weather trying to break up the closet cleaning hoping it would give me more energy it was a beautiful day.

Hope all goes well with results tomorrow Phil let us know!

s to all the sisters!

I'm so sorry you girls are experiencing yet more pain. That's not the way it was supposed to be. I would think the best one to contact would be the surgeon since he should know what should or should not be happening.

My hubby and I went away for the weekend and it was the first time we were intimate since the surgery. It hurt really bad and I was so disappointed (he was too!). The pain is right at the entrance of the vagina. I need to call the dr and see if this is normal and if I just need to give it more healing time. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hope you all are doing better. I went to the casino yesterday with BF and didn't win a thing. My ds was here this weekend also and left yesterday afternoon, and I left in the morning. My parents came over and had lunch with him before he left. My g-friend from Orlando was also here and we went for drinks and appetizers on Friday. Boy, what a weekend. Today, I took a vacation day just to recovery. It is also my BF b-day today and had a nice breakfast and will have a nice dinner. I am going be fat.

Have you tried sleeping in another room to see if it may be your bed?

My girl. I used to always have loose bowels, till last year, then I suffered with constipation on/off till a few weeks ago. I think it was fibroid related. I also think that I may have hemmy's because I used to have pain back there with my period. Now, I am pretty regular and no pain back there. I have had it both ways, but going too much wins over being stopped up.

Girl, u gonna join the real world. U will be fine. Try activia yogurt. It is supposed to be guaranteed.

Hi Sisters, still checking in on you guys! I am sorry for all of you with major problems, I am wishing you the best. My dr prescribed stool softeners along with my pain meds & I took them faithfully as I am prone to being constipated anyway. I had hemmy's with my dd 23 yrs ago and they flared up about mid-way through my recovery. Itching & burning, zowie! I felt like I had a urinary infection. Also I have had the red-eye bleary look. I figure it is my allergies, my favorite time of year for them, but I didnt stop to think it could be worse this year because of the dryness. (after surgery symptom!)
Simply it sounds so fun to go golfing what a great release, I hope you (and your df) are feeling better.
Hey, byfaith I hope you can make it through work, check in and let us know.
Gem, I only worked 46 plus hrs this week. It would be ok if I didnt hurt. I am happy you can handle that many hours, you are the "poster child" for recovery!!! My stomach still feels hard (not in a good way) & it feels like I bumped my pubic bone on something, ouch, like it is bruised. I am so clumsy anymore, what's up with that???
Other than that, I had a fun, windy, dry, cool weekend, eating too much & helped my dd & dsil paint in my basement.

My eye is getting better. I need computer glasses, the optometrist says. Gee, thanks for being so conclusive, I thought. He says it may also be an allergy, eye strain or dry eye. He gave me some systane drops and I have also been using thera tears. It is still somewhat red, but not as bad. I have also stopped being on the computer as much till I get my glasses. Thanks for your support.

Jenice, I just picked up my new "work" glasses last week. They are grape/fusia colored! retro looking, I love em. They seem to help already. NOW if I can just remember where I set them down! Might have to get me some chums, or beady glasses holders! Ra Ha!!

I posted what I did this weekend on progress report. I will recap quickly: My ds came home this weekend and my g-friend (from orlando) was here and we grabbed some dinner on Friday night. Spent Saturday with DS and then went to kohl's from 6-11. Yesterday, I went to a casino with BF and came back very late last night. Today is his b-day and we had a nice breakfast and will have dinner. I took off today from all the activities this weekend.

Now your eye is red. Mine is clearing up finally. I have been using systane and thera tears. I believe that you were the sister that told me you had dry eye before.

I don' tknow anything about glasses. He gave me a prescription for +50 in right eye and +75 in left eye. Is that normal? I went to walgreens, cvs, walmart & target looking for +50 or +75. They don't sell anything lower than a +100. Isn't this a light prescription I have and is it worth it?

Yeah, it is normal, my "reader/computer glasses are plain glass in one eye, & 1.25 in the other. Thats why I can't buy them off the rack. My driving glasses are -2.75 in one eye & -.25 in the other. So in other words I look like I am winking at people when I am really sqinting!! Some places offer good deals like 2 pr for $99. but they don't include anti glare, scratch resistence etc. It can add up. My glasses were $84, and I also got some transitons to drive in. Even with optical insurance they were about $150. but those lenses cost more.

I am so sorry lovetosew, my dh and I have yet to be intimate. Crazy, but I have not really been feeling well for so long and my dh has been so sweet. I am thinking we will try tonight. Maybe??

My poor tummy with these antibiotics. My last day taking them will be Wednesday. I see the doctor on Monday and she said I will need yet another CT scan to check on the diverticulitis. Hopefully it will be gone I don't know what I will do if I need MORE antibiotics. I have been on them for about a month.

I am trying work tomorrow for the first time so I don't loose my job. My energy is about 67% of the normal so I am really nervous about a full day on my feet.

Wish me luck!
