Reliefsdue, I've been using Activa for about 3 weeks now. It must be helping, because I have been a little more regular (I alternate between constipation & diarhea.) On the days I've been constipated, it's been after I've missed eating it a couple of days.
I think they closed the sisters chat thread and kept this open cause I haven't been able to find the other.

Back to work and my head is spinning. My lower back is in quite a bit of pain from standing all day and I have a severe headache. Only got off my feet for 30 minutes today and no snack break. We are so under staffed it's horrible.

Well tomorrow I open the salon, talk about going starting out at full force. I am hoping when I get off the antibiotics I will feel better.

Hope everyone has a good night

I am just checking you sisters. I think of you while i'm working my tail off. My vein in my arm gets HUGE from writing on so many student essays.

Meanwhile: I am still very exhausted. VERY. I started driving off from Taco Bell without the change. I miss exits on the freeway. I miss turns in the night dropping off/picking up my kid. I have trouble sleeping. Someone hugged me so tightly that a bone snapped/cracked in my chest area so owie, that hurts. I feel like I'm sleepwalking! However, 'that's life.' I still fit in walks in between all the papers/life. I still try to eat healthy. I've cleaned, lifted, been doing 'regular' since I figure 10 weeks, time to get with it. I even tried a 3 mi. exercise walk away the pounds tape last nite bec. it was raining so much i couldn't walk outside. Thus, I'm trying. However, I know I am not the same as pre surgery. That is for 100 percent sure.

I am glad to read you are all doing fairly well. I read one post where someone was addicted to Hystersisters.........LOL. It is hard to just abandon a group one has formed a bond with over the summer/surgery months.

A good Wed. to you all! Even if I'm not posting, it doesn't mean I'm not thinking of you all, including the ladies who aren't posting anymore!! Your screennames will be w/me FOREVER!

E.

I agree E...it's nice to know that we have someone out there that understands what we are going though. I talked with a couple clients at my salon that noticed that I was gone (where did I go on vacation?) LOL yea surgical vacation. I started to tell them what had happened and it was nice to know that they had a Aunt and one had gone though it herself. She said "you just wait it will get so much better and you will feel better". It just takes time. That made me very happy to hear.

I did have to leave work early today. Had a stomach ache all day long with nausa (I am sure do to the antibiotics) and prickly left side pain. I think I wore myself out yesterday.

Your right Jennice I am trying to get off the feet when I get home.

Hoping tomorrow will be better.

On your feet all day

Byfaith, no kidding, working in a salon would be a killer in terms of adjusting after the surgery. I am on my feet a lot with the teaching, etc., but I can imagine it has been hard for you. It is LOL when some people don't even notice!

Today it is so beautiful here, isn't it? I walked twice in Loring Park by my college bec. I could not STAND to be cooped up inside. Now I'm waiting for DD to call for a ride (I gave four teens a ride for a blizzard to DQ and back to the soccer field for them to work on homework/watch peers.. it is so beautiful out here today).................

Off I go. My brain is still on 'freeze' but I just try to make the best of it. A good evening to you and anyone else who checks in.

Just checking in girls. The days seem to be getting alot easier. I'm now lifting about 35=40lbs. From about waist high and up. I'm not going to lift anymore weight than that and not from the floor. I don't feel like getting a hernia and since our insides are still moving down some i don't want to hurt anything. But everything seems to be getting back to normal or as normal as can be with me. ha ha
Friday is a half day of school so my boss and i go in and feed just breakfast to the middleschool kids but no lunch so the rest of ladies have the whole day off. I go in for 3 hrs thats it.
My twins girls turned 22 today. Happy Birthday to them. Boy i feel so old sometimes. My son is 27 and i'm only 46 O well i guess thats just life.

It is nice that we are all still checking in. If you are 46 and your ds is 27, that means that you are YOUNG and was a young mother.

I am researching swelly belly. Yeah byfaith, I am at it again. I read the article on this site that says it may be around for a couple of months. But tomorrow is 10 weeks for me. When I had my lap/lysis for adhesions in 03, I cannot for the life of me remember when my belly went down. I believe it did sooner and it wasn't this big anyway. I feel like a muffin top when I put on some of my regular pants. I mostly wear low waists though.
What is going on with Phil446?

Thanks Jennice that makes me feel pretty good now.
My belly still swells up to sometimes. And some days it just feels like it is there all day. I don't like it one bit. Plus i think i'm gaining weight now. And god know i surely don't need that. I weigh to much now for cripe sakes.
