Hey ladies,

I had to find this site again.
I know how you feel, phil. I am going through my own hell. I finally (for now) stopped the pain in the former right ovary area and also on my left ab area, however new problems. I worry alot about adhesions as you know since day 2. Now, my biggest complaint is a little bloating after meals (which for me is an adhesion symptom) but mainly vaginal dryness. I have scratched myself bone dry. It has been getting worse each month and my surgeon could care less. Keeps telling me it is yeast. I am pretty sure that my estrogen is down with 1 ovary and being 42. I am going back to my regular GYN on Thursday. Haven't seen him in a yr and he couldn't perform the LSH. The only reason I agreed to having this surgery was because it was so minimally invasive, but I still have problems. I hate to say it, but I don't think this surgery helped you or I that much Phil. I think that a hysterectomy is for women (like my g-friends) that had excessive bleeding with clots and flooding. I mean I did have my share, but I was always a 5 day period person with 1 or maybe 1.5 days tops heavy. Wishing you the best too, Presouz.

Yea, I have my times that I am able to be on more. I know that we are all going on with life and just a couple of us even check in. The colonoscopy was good. He only found a couple of hemmy's. The day before during the prep wasn't too bad either unlike the first one. I took the phophorus soda which I requested. No cramping like the go-lytely I had 5 yrs ago. At least that and the endocscopy with the G.I. has been ruled out. I hate going to several drs. I am going to request a little vaginal cream for the itching and pray that helps.

I check in on you girls every now and again, I just haven't posted in awhile. There's probably a few others doing the same. Glad some of us are feeling better. Prayers for all those who aren't. "They" say it takes about a year to feel normal. . . . well, 6 weeks and counting.

I sure hope so crossroads. I am tired of this big belly. I also get bloated and have ab pain after eating. ADHESIONS! My regular GYN or my surgeon don't believe me. They also don't think that I have early menopause because I am only 42 and the average age is 51 and I'm soooo tired of hearing this. I am going back to my primary to get that FSH test. Women can be more understanding.
Phil,
Maybe I do need a little HRT. Did your belly go down? What about bloating and stomach pain.

Hi friends! Its been a while! I hope everyone is doing much better. Can you believe its almost a year? My hysterversary will be on July 9. As they say here on the hystersister boards, I'm trying to navigate the "hormone jungle" Feeling pretty good now except from some little side effects from my patch. One is that I am notice my hair falling out when I comb through after shampooing and the other is the bloating. Geez, my belly is huge Jennice. I just dont know what to do about it anymore. I'm going up on my patch this weekend from 0.05 to 0.75. I'm hoping it will help. I'd love to hear from everyone!
Jennice i have to tell you about that side pain I was having. Turns out its not adhesions nor new endo. I was taking an exercise class and the doctor thinks it could be my "floating rib" LOL< i didnt even know i had a "floating rib" whats up with that?

Hello ladies,
It's been awhile. How is everyone? Wow, soon it will be a year. It sure has not been an easy one.

I have been doing pretty good. I still have to take Lunesta to sleep. I am on estrogen and blood pressure medication. To think I never needed medication before my surgery. Since November I have working on back issues. After seeing chiropractors and now a physical therapist he tells me it is all job related. It sounds like I may be job hunting again. My tummy also gets bloated quite easy. After I eat or sometimes when I don't It makes me feel like I have gained weight all the time but when it get on the scale it has remained the same. I just can't figure that out. My tummy I have decided will never be flat again and I am not happy about that.

Nothing is quite the same as before but I am learning to cope.

I hope everyone else is doing okay, I'll check back again soon!!

Hi ByFaith! Its so good to hear from you I think you said it best and I can relate, not the same and learning to cope. I am constantly searching for answers and this website is so dear to me. As a resource I find myself coming here first for answers. Definitely for me the bloating is the worst right now. I just "upped" my hormone patch in the hopes of being better. It would be nice to hear from everyone else in our group as our anniversaries approach.

sorry to hear about your back ByFaith. Are you exercising?

Hello Phil!!!!! Yes I am exercising. I could always do more though. The pain is between my shoulder blades. It's because our desk is set up ergonomically incorrect. It may cost too much to fix but I know the owner is working on it. It's kind of sad but she just put in a brand new desk in November and had it built for the salon (without thinking of how it is setup). In the meantime I am going to continue to keep my eyes open for other work. We will see how it goes.

I think tummy issues and bloat are pretty common with allot of us. I wonder if it has anything to do with the loss of hormone?
