Wow, Law, i wish I could vacuum. I can swim 10 min. but I cannot vacuum for 6 weeks from surgery to end of 6 weeks, so 3 more to go for me before i can drag that machine around. I try to ignore the messy carpets. I wish I had a DH. Life would be grand. Take care and be careful w/all that cleaning you are doing. I'd rather walk my laps! Glad you got some more sleep. Maybe i will try to get a nap in today though it always leaves me disoriented. W/only 3 hs. sleep and the high heat/humidity it's gonna be a tough day. Once again, have a good Tuesday! E

Hi everyone:
Just received my post and its 3 weeks today.
What a difference a few weeks can make? I'm walking alot , but not as much as "E" you go girl, but at my pace.
I got the bad path report-Dr. says he is sending more sections out to be tested.
We never even spoke of this so I am going crazy. That's why I haven't posted in awhile.
I have a question-if someone knows....If they took everything out TAH/BSO I don't have to worry about these findings ----right?
Well,I go to the Dr. on the 10th and he will go over everything with me.

I love reading your updates keep them coming.

You are all in my prayers....and remember to take care of yourself

Happy at Fifty: I send you hugs/prayers for upcoming path reports

Re: the path report. If they took everything out I don't know if I can 'lie' and say don't worry. I worried all the way to my path report because my hysterectomy was for CIN3/CIS. I have done research on the 'cancer' side of hystersisters/posted over there prior to my path appt. and even on a cervical cancer website prior to my report. That's how scared I was and thinking my usual negative thoughts. It's good you are keeping positive.

I would say you have an EXCELLENT qn re 'not to worry' BUT I would suggest you go to the cancer threads and start a new question re: 'they took everything out but the doctor is sending my path findings for more testing'.....what could it mean....and you will get LOTS of support, ideas, information that could be helpful in calming you down. I think until your appt. on the 10th it is totally normal to be a bit afraid.

and think about the new thread idea. Take care. I'll be thinking of you and trying to be 'happy at 55' (got that idea from you)..........E.

And p.s. yes i have already walked a good 4 miles today because it's h-o-t out there today.

Yawn,
Morning everyone. Had another long night. We had a big electrical storm run thruogh last night and knock out our electricity. It was out from about 8:30 pm to about 2:30 am. I slept in the recliner until it came on cause DH has sleep apnea & sleeps with a bipap machine.... which runs on electricity. All of our windows were painted shut by previous owners so no air movement. All I could think of was "Lord.... Please, no hot flashes tonight!" God is good. He waited until the power came back on.

Hey! I had a big sneeze this morning and my belly didn't split open and I didn't pee myself. Now that's progress. Just wish my incision would stop ITCHING[u]!!!!!!!!!
Even though I have the opposite problem that most of you have (diarhea) I get the gas pains too. Stool softener at night and immodium (my best friend since they took out out my gall bladder for stones last month) in the am. DH knows now that when I get that particular look on my face as I bow to the floor, it's time to vacate the throne room because one I get the gas out, everything else is on it's way! :run3:

Send some of that rain up here. We are in a severe drought in MN. It's been sooo bad. The weather/climate is very different from when I was a child. Definitely. I'm glad you got the power back.....I'd be sweatin' up a storm! Take care...................E.

E,
Believe me, last month, we were actually trying to pray the rain up to my mom in Ohio. We were the one of the towns to get hit with the flooding June 18th. The oldest little girl that drown was one of our bus kids at church. People here are still a little gun shy when it rains. But we needed last nights. Now I hope it holds off for a bit. I haven't been walking and I need to start. I looked at my calves last night and I'm starting to lose muscle tone.

JVC, Good luck tomorrow. I am a july 12th girl too (LSH) What kind of surgery did you have? I could go back tomorrow if I didn't have the time, but my dr. initially told me 4 wks so I am going to take them. My job is very understanding, but when I go back to work , they are expecting me to work after they fuss over me for 10mins. So please be careful, JVC. U don't want a setback.
I am still waiting for my dr. to call me. He was in surgery yesterday. I think the low grade fever is just me. I still want something for the occasional vaginal itching though. I have rectal pressure today and that is one of the reasons I decided to do this LSH instead of the myomectomy. I was afraid that I was hurting other organs. But, I guess this surgery is touch and go too. It takes a while for everything to straighten itself out. Even more so with IBS ladies, like myself. I still have mixed feeling about the whole thing with them finding adhesions. I could still need another surgery AGAIN down the road. I really have come to appreciate all of you. U can call on me anytime even after they close this thread.
God Bless
