Thumbs up - Hysterectomy dates Jul 16-Jul 23,2007 Thanks for this site!

I'm so excited Presouz. Thanks so much for creating this site. I was getting down just at the thought of not talking to my friends anymore and then I read you created this

I worked 9 1/2 hours today and lived to tell about it! My DH works the evening shift so I don't see him when I work. I came home today to find that he had done laundry and vacummed the floor! Wow and he knows the DR released me to do housework. Gee wonder what he has on his mind? Hmmmm......

Gosh Barnie, Wyoming sounds like a fabulous place to live. Pretty places to hike and picnic. Indiana is just very HOT right now. We do live by the Ohio River and DH & I walked along the river last night AFTER the sun went down.

Will go for now. Have a nice evening!

Thumbs up - Hysterectomy dates Jul 16-Jul 23,2007 7 weeks tomorrow..

Well, it's back to the grindstone for me...sort of worked today...we had open house at my school from 9-12 (went in at 7:30), staff luncheon, then faculty meeting after. Got home at 4:15, got my haircut, went to the chiropractor, and then out for dinner with a friend...this is the first I'm relaxing since the faculty meeting!!! I'm whipped!

So, I think I'm gonna head to the bedroom to go get into some pj's. Doctor appointment tomorrow (!), still feel that daggonned UTI though! Not fair!!!

Anyway, it's early, but I'm saying GOOD-NIGHT! I'll check in tomorrow! And will maybe feel like having a piece of chocolate ON TOP of my ice cream!! HeHeHe!!

Post-Op Report

YAY!! I got discharged by my DR today...although I'm finished with the antibiotic, I'm now taking Diflucan for a yeast infection. When will this ever end?!?!

Anyway, yeah, he told me that I could resume all activities, including...intersourse...AS I FEEL READY FOR IT THOUGH. I'm scared. Everything 'down there' has been so weird, between the UTI's, yeast infection, blah, blah, blah.

Full day of school today. Tired doesn't begin to cover it. Didn't sleep well last night thinking of all the things I didn't do. Having two grade levels this year isn't helping either. And being a grad school student studying Literacy, of course, I keep wanting to use all the cool info I've been learning in my classes. Grad school starts tomorrow (6-7:30, although I have to leave home by 5, and don't get home til after 8:45). LOOOONNNGG DAYY!!

Anyway, hope everyone is well. Soo good to hear your updates. Keep 'em coming, please?!

Peace!

feeling yucky

Yesterday, I got into my DD's room to clean it. She had left it in a mess getting packed for college. I guess I overdid things. Today, I have had a headache and am just tired. I tried to lay down this afternoon, but hayfever attacked and I sneezed before I could brace myself. OWWWWWWEEEEEE. It brought tears to my eyes. Anyway....pity poor me and ain't it awful...

First let me say, thank you for setting up this chat area.

Well, work is busy but I am a soon to be grandma so most of my extra time is spent SHOPPING for baby things. I always wonder why my old boss hated the idea of becoming a grandma, I just love it.

Oh Presouz,

Had my first full day back at work, then my post-op visit. Got home at 5, ate dinner, and went to bed at 8:15!! I took two Tylenol PM because I have a yeast infecction that kept me up most of the night before...I was whipped yesterday.

So it is now 6 a.m., I'm checking in on my sisters, getting my coffee ready and heading fight for the shower with my daughter and look forward to another lovely day with the youngin's!! Icky part is that I have grad school tonight - I leave the house at 5, and get home around 9...I sure hope that I make it! You KNOW my bed will be calling my name when I walk through that door!

JAMDIGI-congrats on being a soon-to-be-gramma!! That must be so exciting! Even though my first is almost 20, I remember how excited my mom was when she was about to be a grammy! And how much, today, she loves to have the kids at her house even though they are all of high/college school age now!!! My cousin is expecting in April, and I am oh-so-excited for her!!

Anyway, I read posts every day...just too pooped to write! Hope everyone has a great day! More tomorrow!
