Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

Moody?? You betcha!! I have been wondering if my o's are working - was on Lupron for quite a few months and my doc reassured me that they would kick into gear in a few weeks! Well I think they are DH just got back from a long week away and all I could do was get teary and moody and snippy! I go in for my last ultrasound - 3 1/2 month mark - next week so i'm definitely bringing up the moodswings....also insatiable sex drive! I feel like a rabbit sometimes!! I guess I should be grateful that I have moods to deal with and not the constant running to the loo for a year straight!

Hang in there...there's gotta be an answer somewhere eh?

Oregongrown - I kept my ovaries and I still have my monthly pms. Hope all goes well at the dr.

Hi everyone. Just dropping in to say hi. See so many are going back to work. Hope all goes well with everyone. School started today and so far so good. The kids like their teachers.

Hope everyone has a great week.

I also still have pms symptoms every month - the only thing missing is the period! Otherwise - mood swings, night sweats, swollen ankles, cramping - thrill, thrill!
And then there are the menopause symptoms: hot flashes, night sweats, trouble sleeping, etc. Can't wait until all of this is over!

Are we having fun yet??

Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

I survived day two

Finally getting back on track w/my chiropractor! I don't see my surgeon again till the end of October.

So far my new job is going well... haven't gotten much training yet, but should get some tomorrow & Friday... especially since the SGT that I'm taking over for is reporting to her new job on Monday! She's a sweetheart.

I'll be on half-days till the week after next, but they've cut out my lunch because of it... not good since my appetite is already all messed up... I haven't eaten at all today!

Overall, I think I'm doing pretty good... just so darn tired all the time. Sleep problems have gotten worse now that I'm no longer taking Ambien. Glad I've lost a couple of pounds, but not glad that it's just because I have NO appetite. Only get twinges of pain "down there" occassionally now, which is a nice change.

I hope everyone had a good day, as always sending a great big to everyone!

Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

Hello ladies! Looks like most of us are back to work now. Nice to have a routine, but, and don't tell anyone cause I hate to admit it, but I think I started back full time too soon. After being in our mortuary most of the morning, my boss has pretty much forbid me to continue to work full time just yet. Thinks I should only be in for no more than 3 hrs a day and he wants to know if I'm there longer than that. Little does he know there's no way that can happen this week with 3 funerals and burials yet to do this week. We'll see what next week brings.

How's everyones "ledge"? I still have mine and I'm none too happy about it. I want to wear my regular clothes!

Ok...seen this thread a hunderd times but it didn't describe me until today. I am just crazy moody! Like psycho. I have yelled more at the fam today than I have in two years. Don't know what is up?? I hope this is not a preview of months to come, because I feel crappy. Can't really explain how I feel...but it is not "me."

Somebody mentioned a "ledge"... are you speaking of the top part of your incision? Mine is like a mogual on a ski slope. I want it to go away...somebody please tell me it goes away....I need good news....

Going to have a pouty pitty party...Ang

Well, the first week is almost done!!!

I'm wore out... big time... I just wish that I could get some sleep... I think that would help tremendously.

I hope that everyone is doing well...

Hi Desiree, Glad that you week is almost through. Sleep...........funny thing that one..........I seem to get off to sleep ok but wake up at like 2AM and can't get back to sleep then I do it's time to get up.............

So I am going to try the old fashioned late night hot bath thing and it has worked before but will try again! Have you tried a long soak in a bath then into bed???? maybe it may help????

I hope everyone else is doing well.

bye for now Kerrie

Tried the bath thing... doesn't work... the hot tea works a tiny bit, but I think I'm just too high stressed right now... hope you have a good day
