Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

Thank you everyone for your ears and hearts today. It was one of the days were I just couldnt hide my feelings. But everyones encouragement has helped tremendously.

Lala,
You are anything but shallow!! And right about now a little attention for you from great guy sounds better than a medicinal cocktail! Your english major make your words shine on line! Thank you for sharing how you feel and the hope that time will help!

Desiree,
Thank you also for all the kind words and support! Your dinner sound great! Put your feet up this evening! I was thinking about calling my family dr. and seeing if he would do blood work. I know we will get through this one day at a time and together. Because "WE ARE FAMILY" There is a new song for your head.

Kris,
Its nice to hear from you today. How are you feeling? Is your insicion any better today?
Its also nice to know I am not alone at the 41/2 week point. Sometimes I just feel like what if I always feel this way. But all my wonderful sisters are so reassuring. That and I havent read any articles about post hysterectomy woman going completely insane and taking over Manhattan or anything!LOL
Im so sorry that you had to learn about the swimming thing the hard way! Who knew floating could cause so much pain!!!!

Okiedokie my day was rough but I think Im ready for a joke sisters!! Got any???

I wouldn't mix them either.... I don't drink too often, but I would like a glass of wine... that'll have to wait until I'm no longer on the pain meds though.

Overall, I'm not too bad. It's just surprising how much pain I'm still in... I really thought it would be more tollerable.... guess I'm just a big baby when it comes to pain.

I got extended with 2 more weeks off from work... so know I go back on Aug 20th, but the doc already said if I'm not ready he will give me 2 more wks off, but then I HAVE to go back to work... if I feel like I do now... I will definitely be taking the additional 2 wks!

Moods... I don't know how my dh is putting up with me, but I sure am glad that he is! Heck I don't think I could put up with someone with such extreme mood swings... I go from being really sweet to rotten in a second! It's really weird. And the hot flashes are obnoxious!!

I'm like you... I couldn't do this without the ladies here.... I think I'd lose my mind (not that I'm not LOL) if I didn't have this outlet... where so many understand and share!

I'm rambling again as usual.........

Cute CLEAN Joke

A minister decided that a visual demonstration would add emphasis to his Sunday sermon.

Four worms were placed into four separate jars.

<oops! please do not post unoriginal material per site guidelines! only a minumum of 20% of material with a copyright may be posted. here is a link to a site with a copyright where you can read the rest of this joke: http://jokes.christiansunite.com/Pas...y_Sermon.shtml .>

Dear Desiree,

Thank you, love the joke See all I needed was a little love & laughter from my sisters! Just because I had a low day doesnt mean it has to end that way !

Just a cute story from my home-Boys really are little men! When I was running errands yesterday I bought my 7yr old a cup for football. Well he just thinks its the coolest thing and there have been many jokes. Hes been wearing it all evening! Heck its a pretty cheap toy!

Anyway thanks for the laugh.

Desiree, thanks, need a funny today. Been grumpy since I woke up.

Warning to all sisters: Do Not go clothes shopping when you still have a ledge. It makes you bite the sales peoples heads off. They aren't very tasty. I had to apologize to a couple for being so cranky. In & Out Burgers make it all better! I did buy 3 skirts, but, not sure if I like them. They may need to go back. Have to try on with some of my tops. 5 hour to buy 3 skirts, I must be nuts.

How's everyones memory since surgery? Mine seems to have left. I can't remember the simplest things. Danny has even mentioned it a couple of times.

Hope,
Maybe if your dh borrows your son's new "toy" you can release your mood swing in a faster, more efficient way and feel better quicker! Just a thought....

Ok, maybe I'm just wishing my dh had one so I can do that!! He's annoyed me today. Not his fault, I'm just moody and he's tired of my moods!

Oh, whoever mentioned the "we are family" has very effectively put it into my head!!

Kris,
Im still somewhat apprehensive and your reaction to it definately scares me. My DH would however love the idea!! Sorry for the "We are family" song thats now stuck in your head!

Morti,
You are so brave to go shopping for clothes so soon. The thought of the full length mirrors in the dressing rooms in way to scary. Sorry you had a bad day also. But I think its time for the late night comedy act here on hystersisters. Now we just need to find Sister Queen of comedy Lala!

Desiree,
By the way thanks for starting this thread it has really bonded a lot of us sisters. Just think of the day when we can re-name it. Post Op and holy Please don't override the website censor. my ovaries have finally woke up and Im off the rollercoaster and the #$% all at once!
