you gals have me laughing again today... richard.... hehehe

I do hope your appointment goes well, lala! I agree with Ginny.... you oughta do stand up

I was doing pretty good this morning... gotta bad headache now... I think I'm just whiny today!

My little man is grouchy from getting his shots the other day... that doesn't help things.... I think he'd be okay if his poor little nose wasn't running.... when it rains, it pours (pun intended lol)

Lala,
Desiree is right we do love you and you are always there with so much insight, love and laughter.
I also have to apologize, Im guilty of instigating the whole name thing oops. Richard it will have to be. I hope your halo fits better than mine Im a few lights short of a full glow.
Youve had your share of names Im just not sure how AngelLala suits you! Just kidding. I sure hope your appointment goes well.

Sorry ladies for being so bad yesterday. But if it helped lift your spirits I guess it was worth it.

Desiree,
I hope your little guy is feeling better along with you. I sure hope your headache goes away soon. I did talk to my DH and we both apologized to each other. I agree that this whole recovery thing is getting old. Im just feeling emotionally and physically drained today, but still plugging foward.

WannaBe
Thanks for the support. Hope your day is going well also.
I couldnt agree more about Lala doing stand up!

Morti,
Good luck with getting squashed today. Yuck I have to make my appt to do the same and Im avoiding it! Sending good thoughts that all goes well!

hope,

we all have our "bad" moments glad to hear you and your dh are back in good standing... that's a good word for it "drained" that's exactly how I feel! completely drained.... I would love to take a nap, but the little man won't let me be... he want "mama to play" with him all day long... I do most of it from the couch

Anyhow... headache isn't any better, but overall in a pretty decent mood... think I need to find a way to get out of the house... you know I've only been out of the house a small handful of times in the past 6 wks!

Dear Desiree,
Maybe getting out for a little while might help. It will also entertain your little man for a while. My kids are tired of entertaining themselves.

Dear Morti,
I was curious after Desiree comment on your name so I checked out the thread too funny. But just think now I have someone to get advice from if I really feel like Im not going to survive this whole recovery thing.LOL

Thanks Ladies,
I am back from getting sonogram and can call Dr's office later to get results. I doubt they find anything - which I'd be grateful for, but then that means further 'investigation.'

Catherine - I will say I would not want the "clean up" job, but I am glad that you are there for us.

Call me a prude or 'overly sensitive,' but I ended up skipping most of those posts because they bothered me. I realize ex-spouses can be real jerks, and when dealing with one competing for the crown of Jerkdom - it could be considered "justifiable homocide" - but as a couple friends have said "if it weren't for the 'jerk' I wouldn't have 'offspring.' [ok, I am getting off of my soapbox!]

Lala - thanks for the pixie dust - I took an Imitrex for my migraine, and it seems to be working! so I am heading to the couch for an hour!

no half days!!

unbelievable! my doc told me that she had to fight just to get my two weeks extra approved -- that the short term place threatened to pull my disability coverage for the whole operation!!

she said that work had told them "I dont do anything but sit" (I'm a business analyst -- and by the way sitting is the hardest thing!)

She said to go back and try to do the whole day, and if i couldnt we could try again. she was great.

but obviously i work for the devil.

I'm so sorry Lala... your employer sounds like a butt!! Insurance companies rob us in soooo many ways!!

And, yes, sitting IS the hardest thing... sigh, we will be here for you to vent to!

Please try to do something extra special for yourself this weekend.... If I was closer, I'd drag you out for a mani/pedi or something
