I say go for it Lala, why not do what is best for you! I think your body will thank you also. Plus that way work might get the hint that you need to ease back into things!(Wishful thinking probably).

I hope your day is perking up a little!

I agree w/hope... go for it. I don't understand why your job is being such a butt and not allowing you the half days anyway! But then again, my job will try to do the same, but I'm going to have the doc write it up where there is NO misunderstanding

Anyhow, we went to Walmart to get school clothes for the 14yr old... BIG mistake... I am in SOOO much pain... I decided to walk this time since it's hard to get the electric carts through the clothes isles.... my dh pushed the cart and I held on to it... now I'm in really bad pain... came home and immediately took a pain pill... now I gotta apologize to my dh... it was not a fun shopping experience, these hot flashes HAVE to go away sometime... I think this it was causes me to "snap" I think I bit my poor dh's head off a dozen times while we were out.

I feel awful.... which really bites, cause I WAS having a pretty good day.... o'well... down the rollercoaster hill I go again

Oh, btw... loved the porpoise joke even in my grouchiness lol

Desiree,
I finally got to see the pictures. Your animals are cute! Twix is a pretty cat! Does Twix get along with your dogs?
By the way Im sure your DH has already forgiven you for the bad shopping day.

Lala,
I hope you are taking advantage of that recliner today!!

Alright as if my serious mood wasnt enough I have a nasty headache again. They were bad post op and then went away for a while and now I keep getting them like crazy again. Im starting to have Rx envy again!HELP!

Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

I had two friends drop by unexpectedly (which I hate) and mooched a cocktail. spilled it on my couch. this friend invited me to lunch and I told her i didnt want to I wouldbe bad company -- so they called first at least and dropped by afterwards DON'T WANT COMPANY (well if great guy -- okay guy -- suddenly wanted to be great again.... but that is different) anyway i went for a swim since it is therapeutic -- and of course overdid because I felt stressed.

it is the recliner for me now that is for sure! torn between the pain pill or the medicinal cocktail.... at least i still have a choice!!

we DO cycle together!! anyone not hurting? (and if so they should migrate to another thread!!)

I can't stand when people come visit me unannounced either! Hmmm especially when they make messes in my house

My dh thought your (and if so they should migrate to another thread) comment was really funny when I read it to him... he had asked what I was laughing about

My little man is SUPER hyper this evening and driving me crazy! he and my dh are going back to walmart... forgot some stuff cause I was wanting to get out of there so quickly! this time they are going without me... gives me a little break to myself!

Now it's just me and my kitty on the couch flipping chanels on the tv

Lala I couldnt agree more with your migrate comment!! Misery loves company!! I made the mistake of just browsing some threads and there are a lot of the perky type again!!

Unannounced company that drinks your medicinal cocktails and then spills them on your couch-NOT good.

My DH was even smart enough to take the boys to the drive-in! He knew being in my company tonight would not be pleasant! Just me and my DD and she is usually pretty good.

but just to adjust, we are not miserable... we are introspective philosophers!! perky is anti-philosophic! they just might be happier elsewhere is all....

Lala,
you have a way with words, as you can tell I am far from being an english major. I have much to learn.
