Oh Lala what are we going to do with you. No sleep makes for a very tired Lala having to go to work. Its amazing how many of us are struggling to sleep and some dr are supportive and other still dismiss it .
I hope you at least fell back to sleep at some point before work.

Desiree,
I hope your morning is going well. I also hope that your mom has a good day and everything goes smoothly with her testing. Keeping up the prayers for both of you.

Morti,
I hope things are going alright for you sister and niece. Hope that your doing well also.

Kerrie,
Im still trying to figure out how many hours you are ahead of us. I think you are probably sleeping right now! Love seeing your post all the way from Melbourne.

I am going to be thankful for my recliner while I can Lala!!!

Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

Hello Lovely Ladies!

Niece and my sis are back at home and she's still pregnant, hopefully for another couple weeks. Yeah! Thanks for asking and your good thoughts for them.

Hmmmm, let's what I can remember (it's that darn memory thing again)

Pie really doesn't last that long with only one person in the house, at least not if I'm that one person. I love sweets and my tush and hips show it. Speaking of which, I notice I have lost all muscle tone during this recovery. I'm soft and squishy, was sure glad he made a point of pointing it out, like I didn't know it. Bad bad BF. When I'm released for "fun" he better not count on any! Yeah right, I'm ready.

It's almost 3 pm Thursday, 8/8 California time. I'm terrible with time zones and temps usually close to 100 during the day here in the Hi Desert.

Glad to here that mom's spirits are good and she joking around. Her sense of humor will help her so much. It's amazing what a positive frame of mind can do for the healing process.

Work should be illegal. I've become quite the homebody and am rather enjoying it. Can't be just be paid for blessing the world with our existance????? Works for me!

Well, today I decided that this house needed a good cleaning. I've stripped, washed and put fresh linens on our bed (hope the sheets stay since I just tucked the top sheets where I could), did the laundry (only 1 load), swept & beached all the tile floors, dusted the entire house, scrubbed the disgusting bathrooms, vacuumed the rugs and furniture (3 canisters of fur ). Now I've taken a pain pill and having a energy drink. I'm whipped. We are suppose to meet friends tonight for drinks for the wifes birthday, providing he gets home early enough to go.

Hope everyones having a good day!

Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

Good evening ladies,

Boy, today was a long one. Seems like now that I'm cooking again... we keep needing to go to the grocery store! At least we are starting to eat healthy again... now that we're not eating out so much... besides, even though I enjoyed the break, I was really getting tired of my dh bringing food home... like home cooked meals much better!

My mom said things are going well. In 2-3 weeks, they will be taking a lemon sized piece out of her breast and testing it to see if they need to remove the whole breast or not. The doc said they are pretty confident that they have caught it in the early stages... will know more after they test the sample removed. All in all, things with her are going well. Thanks for all the prayers!

I'm having the enjoyment of relaxing on the couch alone... getting a break getting to watch what I want to watch on TV

Oooh, I walked through the store today! That's a big improvement (in my opinion)... it hurts, but I'm doing it! I did take a pain pill before going though... but that's cause I overdid it around the house and was already hurting... now my low back hurts more than anything. BUT I did enjoy the shopping this time.

Well, I hope everyone is doing well.... I miss our daily chats but I understand that everyone is starting to be able to do more... so we're not sitting w/the computer as much.

Lala, I hope your 2nd day at work went okay.... hopefully you're at home relaxing with a nice glass of wine in your recliner

Hope, I hope you are also enjoyig your recliner.... hopefully you will get some much needed sleep soon

Marti, glad to hear you niece and sister are back home... is your niece treating her mom any better? sending them warm wishes Sounds like you worked your butt off today... hope you get some rest this evening! Time to pamper yourself a little bit and put your feet up

Kerrie, hope the weather's not treating you too badly! Hope to hear from you soon and know that you are healing/recovering well.

Sending great big s to all my sisters out there!!

Dear Desiree,
Im glad to hear that it sounds like they caught your moms cancer in the early stages. Is she done with testing until then? I will keep praying for her.
I hope that you have a good nights sleep.

Dear Morti,
Im happy to hear that your niece and sister are home. You were a busy bee today. I hope you are enjoying yourself this evening and going to take advantage of your couch tomorrow.

Dear Kerrie,
Hope that you are doing well.

Dear Lala,
Well my house is a disaster and my kids wanted to swim so I had to choose between cleaning and swimming. Although swimming leads to being sore later, cleaning is worse. So I just had to swim. Tough choice. Plus it was very hot and muggy. I hope you have a good day tomorrow.

HUGS!!

My mom still has to have some more testing done. From what I understand she goes home tomorrow... not sure what else they're doing. She really likes the surgeon up at the hospital! She will have to go back up there when it's time for her surgery, but she said she really doesn't mind since she now has a really good doctor.

Well... today has already started off on the wrong foot.... did not get anywhere near enough sleep... super cranky... doesn't help that I went to bed annoyed w/my dh... I always wake up worse off than when I went to sleep. He didn't do anything major... he was just picking on me and I got tired of asking him to stop, that I didn't feel good. Well... one too many times later I was "huffin & puffin" while sitting on the couch! He tried to get me to come back to bed and I was being stubborn since I was quite annoyed. He (of course) apologized this morning, but grrrrrr Like I said, nothing major... just annoying stuff. All in all he's been soooo great at taking care of me for the past 7 wks.

So here I sit.... been up for a while... wishing and hoping for a nap already, but knowing I won't get one... I never get one.

Still waiting for my hormone test results.... I am supposed to get them tomorrow... I have a copy of them, but can't understand them.... which adds to the impatience part!

Sorry... I'm sure I'm repeating myself... not clear-headed today.

Lala, I hope you have a good day at work
Hope, I hope you get to relax a bit today, you've been busy!
Morti & Kerrie, I hope you ladies are taking care of yourselves today!

Pamper the Princess.... right??
