Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

I tease my dh about having gone everywhere too... he was in the Navy for 5 yrs (till he was medically discharged). He said it's not the same as visiting somewhere though. It's funny, I've been in the Army for 8.5 years and I've never left the US! 'Course, right now, I really don't want to

I had a friend that was obsessed with the Crocodile Hunter and he saved up for a couple of years and spent a couple of months there... he brought back some really cool pictures! If I do ever get the chance to go, I would like to see the "off the beaten path" places! I absolutely love the wilderness...

I've never been to S CA, I was born in N CA... growing up we always teased saying California should be devided into two states, South California and North California... they seem to be so different I miss it... haven't been there since I was 10!! Another "someday"

Is it as hot in S CA as it is here on the east coast?? It's been obnoxiously hot!!! We've been under a heat advisory for the past few days with a heat index of 115 degrees or so! Now it's "thinking" about storming here... the weather has really been weird lately!

Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

My dh has only been to australia, I did travel to Europe when I was 20, but more than half my life ago (42 soontobe 43) when we are being arm-chair travellers and there is a place I've walked he just rolls his eyes or puts his hands to his ears and says don't tell now I just smile 'cause it is just a distance memory..........just like to tease a little...

I'm glad you all like the sound of our 'holiday house' so when in the future you would like to see a piece of wilderness just let us know it's no palace but beautiful countryside. so feel welcome........ Our permenant home is in a bayside suburb of melbourne, just regular suburb. my dh would love to move to country, but we would require a real house to live in and there would be a lot of travelling to schools - not my choice just yet .....
but who knows what the future holds?? Don't know about your country but over here when you are at university entry level priority is given to country kids???? (have been told this) so don't know what future is to bring education is a priority for our kids future and with our countries election at end of this year just have to wait and see.

My parents and my sisters family are currently holidaying in Queensland and enjoying the warmer weather, my parents go up there for 3month or so every year and meet up with friends from all over aust they have made on their caravaning LOL adventures

Desiree, why do you cook 3 meals per day while it is so hot and you don't feel so good? and I do remember 4yr olds can be a busy thing, does your child go to 4yr old kinder?
If he does maybe you get a little time to relax, cause you can't ask him to make you a sandwich

rest, relax and recouperate

must go have run bath to soak this body of mine......

love hearing from you all..............sweet dreams I do hope that you are all in bed fast asleep.

Even to have a "holiday house" would be nice I have been to Mexico (Cancun & Cozumel) a few times for vacation, but other than that I have no outside of the US traveling experience... I'm hoping that when I reach retirement age we will be able to travel.

I used to be a travel agent... and loved setting up group trips for the senior groups.. always thought that was really cool.... I'm hoping to be able to travel BEFORE I reach that age hehehe

Anyhow... I'm glad you were able to find some time to post... it's been really nice reading about your home! I hope you have a good day... I think I'm going to try to lay down. I took a pain pill and since I haven't been taking them on a regular basis anymore... well, it's working a bit better... so getting quite drowsy

Hope everyone else has a great evening... wishing everyone a good night sleep!!

Lala, best wishes for a good day at work tomorrow.

Hope, hope (giggle, giggle) you're having a good evening and your kiddies aren't driving you crazy

Morti, hope you are having a good evening too keep us posted on how your niece is doing and when the baby is born

(hmmmm my memory is really bad... I hope I didn't mix anybody up LOL)

I guess I cooked so much today because I was reallly getting tired of my hubby bringing home take out LOL

Long story, but my ex-h will not allow my 4 yr old to go to pre-k.... right now it's a joint decision and he said that I can't.... grrrrr

So my little man is with us at home all day long! It's been so hot that he's getting stir crazy not being able to play outside.... but all in all he's doing really well!

Enjoy your bath.... I haven't taken a bath since surgery... that sounds like a really good idea!! I miss my bubble baths too tired tonight... maybe tomorrow

Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

HI everyone,
Alright I keep missing everyone on here. It seems when I am on everyone is missing in action. Its nice to see everyone's post's this evening>

It has been a very busy day and Im tired. We spent the day running to appt. for my DS and Im glad to be home.

I hope that you are ok from your fall. Make sure you mention it to the dr.

Im so glad to hear that your boss is being understanding. It finally cooled down here so hopefully it will at your house soon.

You get a medal today for cooking all three meals. Just dont let DH think you can do this everyday yet. Hope your day went well.

It sounds beautiful at you holiday home. I too would be afraid of the snakes. That is one thing I am a whimp about. I think I have it figured out that you are somewhere around 131/2 to 14 hrs ahead of us. Take care.

Glad to hear you got the all clear, but remember to still take it easy and rest when needed.

Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

I should head to bed as my day was quite busy. But I think I am going to take a bath and relax first. Im sore. I had to drive to Buffalo today which is about 1 1/4 hrs. drive. Then we spent the day waiting for appts. for my 7yr DS. Then we had to stop a few places and the long drive home. Glad to be back in my small rural town.
Is it just about lunch time in Melbourne? It is neat to hear about Australia.
My DH always says that Australia is the one foreign country he would really love to travel to.
Hope everyone is doing well.
It is nice to talk to everyone as lately it seem like everyone is missing in action. But I guess it is a sign that we are moving along in our recovery.
HUGS to all.
