Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

Good evening ladies,

I hope that everyone had a good day.

I think we got a smaller version of your thunderstorm today, Desiree. I am glad for the much needed rain, and that we still have power.

Lala,
I hope you got enough rest this weekend. Didnt your dr.'s orders say something like 1 week of work 1 week off for the next year!!

Good morning Kerrie,
Wishing you a good day.

Morti,
What are you up to? How is your niece doing? Hope you had a nice day too.

I should probably decide what to cook for dinner since it is 6:00pm. I am feeling like a wet noodle today!(PG jokes only Lala). So Im thinking something quick and easy for dinner would be good.

's for everyone!

Hi everyone,

I did the quick and easy dinner tonight too! Good ol' frozen salisbury steaks, mashed potatoes, peas and salad. It was good though.

I don't know if it was my weird nights sleep last night or what, but I am totally drained today.... I wish I could've taken a nap.... I've never been one to take naps.... even though I would love to!!

I hope everyone is doing well... miss you gals!!

My niece is still pregnant, yeah!

Not doing much this weekend. Yesterday did grocery shopping and vacuumed the house. Today I woke up feeling like I'd been run over, so I'm just laying around watching Animal Planet or Discovery Channel. Danny started a 24 hour shift at 4 this morning, so it's just me and the hounds. I'll probably have a piece of left over steak from last night or a Lean Cuisine. Maybe some popcorn later, I love microwave popcorn.

Hope everyone is having a peaceful day.

Hi everyone,

Hope you'ver all enjoyed your weekend, as you know mine is OVER and school runs now done but today have eldest son home unwell & have to take him to dr. It's another cold day today, rain has stopped and have sun shine yeh.........

Hope, Crusty demons are extreme motor cycle action.........they are originally from USA and travel world on tour Xgames stuff.....we took our boy to see them in Melbourne earlier this yr. boy stuff..........motorbike stuff.......not a lot of girl stuff in this house hold ...........I'm sure that maychane as these boys get older.

Desiree, Glad you faired the storm, and your son sound cute, but I would have been running behind him, 'cause I don't like storms. and glad your mum is doing OK.

Lala, glad to know you love to cook maybe you have a secret recipe for pumkin pie you may like to share. When I came home from hospital my dad who like to cook asked if there was anything I fancied and I had been flicking over a magazine and saw pumkin pie so he decided to make it for me and it wasn't at all how I remembered it to taste. but didn't like to upset my dad, so ate it. maybe you may have a good recipe??????
Rest well before your weekahead.

Morti, How are you? I hope that you have been well and enjoyed your weekend. how is your sister and neice????

Hope to hear form you all soon.

Kerrie

Hi ladies!

it sounds like everyone is dong so well!

I cooked all week end long... friday night western style ribs in honey mustard glaze with a pesto style pasta salad. last night, a hanger steak on the grill with grilled japanese eggplant and baby bok choy and indian moong dal with onion garlic tarka, and today, homemade dumplings (okay -- I bought the wonton wrappers) with pork cabbage stuffing. havent cooked them yet, just finished stuffing to the tune of a second medicinal cocktail...

kerrie, I dont have a pumpkin pie recipe offhand, but I love to research recipes online and i will find you a good one. do you like simple or 'cocktail cooking' as i call it - -you dont want it to be TOO simple -- it only lasts one cocktail!!

sometimes things change (palates change) as you get older. pumpkin cheesecake is very good for the older (ie not ten) palate... but a little more work!

I should go cook those dumplings! it has all been a smokescreen trying to ignore the call of the work tomorrow... but that is okay!!

love, lala

I wish we could leave the doors open and it still be cool in the house!!! The humidity level is so high here.

Sorry I'm kinda quiet tonight... kinda bummed and don't want to bring anyone else down... just in a blah mood. Been on the edge of tears all afternoon and I don't even know why

Alright ChefCusineLala,
You are in the wrong profession! My mouth is watering listening to all of your wonderful dishes!!! Can you email me some of that good food!!

Kerrie,
My almost 10yr old loves to watch the X-games so Im sure he knows who the crusty demons are. He really likes the skateboarding and BMX bikes too!
I hope that your week goes smoothly.

Morti,
Glad to hear that your niece is doing well. Im also glad that you had a much deserved lazy day. 24hr shift does not sound like fun. What does your dh do?

Desiree,
I sure hope that you had a nice day. Did it clear up there today?
