Has anyone else had an incisional hernia?

Looking to see if any one else had similar problem. Had a supracervical on March 8th. By June I noticed the swelling behind one incision was hard and the size of a marble. By June I had times of pain especially if I walked to far for exercise or tried to do any situps etc. Cat Scan showed a small incisional hernia which has fat trapped it. Will need surgery to correct this and it does keep me from doing alot of things. Even carrying groceries can kick off very uncomfortable times and no matter what I do I always know its there. Any one else have something like this. Surgeon does not feel it should be done laproscopic an open surgery is a long recovery time.
Need help trying to figure this out. Went lapro with hysterectomy to avoid long recovery and to have my life back. Once again it seems like the best laid plans have not worked.
Anyone else going thru something like this.

Has anyone else had an incisional hernia?

i had an incisional umbilical hernia from a previous surgery and i didnt have it repaired laparoscopically. it was small and he was able to cut around my belly button (it was to the left of my belly button). it wasnt hard to recover from. i did have to be careful about lifting just because it was a hernia repair. does it feel large?
