Pre op appointments finished

Today I had my pre op with the dr. He intends to do a TAH keeping both ovaries if they are looking ok.
I am at 14 to 16week pregnancy sized uterus, no wonder I am uncomfortable!

I have No bowel prep at all, just nothing by mouth after midnight, surgery is at 9am.

I did ask about the surgical garment from my tummy tuck, oh, yes, he is using the same incision site and I am to bring my garment in to the hospital and I am to wear it for the first 6+ weeks of recovery, he seemed a bit excited that I have one of those!

The hospital pre op was a blood draw, EKG and lots of medical questions then explanations about where to park, DH can be with me until surgery then the nurses will find him when I am awake. All in all it is good to have it all done, now I can get to work with the rest of it, 10 days and counting!

Great to hear your pre-op went well! Your count down has begun and you will be a before you know it. My surgery is in 6 more days and I am more than ready to get it over with and start the healing process. This waiting will drive ya bonkers!

Good luck both of you mine is 20 days away. my pre-op is 2 weeks from today I am so scared and nervous but I hoping it gets better. I know I will feel so much better after words.
