Scar Tissue

I have a question for everyone. I had an ultra yesterday, I thought maybe it was left ovary(only thing left in me). But it turned out normal. which was great. But now i find out that it is scar tissue and really nothing can be done for it. Is that true? My stomach is so hard at times.

Good question. If you haven't already, I would see a specialist and get a second opinion.

Maybe they don't want to 'bother' with surgery if it's not life-threatening. IF that is the case - keep pushing!

Cindy

I was just talking to my doctor about this yesterday and he said that for scar tissue, they don't like to go back in for it because it only creates more scar tissue....

I have had massage for the breaking down of scar tissue along an incision on my belly. It has helped. But it can be painful, and take a long time to work it out.

I am a license massage therapist and I see many people with scar tissue due to surgury. I massage over the incision to break up the scar tissue, (it shouldnt be painful)
