I am feeling kind of crampy today, I think because I tried going without pain meds yesterday. So, back to the ibuprofen. There is no bleeding, so I think that's all that is going on. I found some cranberry concentrate capsules to take (have been drinking juice), so hopefully it's not a UTI or something.

Sigh, two steps forward, one step back...

I hope you're all feeling better! Bubble, I hope you are okay.

Doc saw me yesterday

Hi girls!

I saw my doc yesterday because I won't be here on Wednesday. He said everything looked the same as last Friday, and has me continuing to pack my incisions 3 times a day. What a pain in the butt!

I ran a low-grade fever last night (99.4) and was in bed around 7. I'm trying to rest up for this wake/funeral tomorrow and Thursday. Oh, my sister is driving up with me, so I will be taking my Ativan and going to SLEEP!

I won't have access to a computer until the weekend, so I hope everyone has a fun and safe Labor Day weekend, with lots of rest. I'll miss you guys!

Lisa

i recognise the one step forward two back feeling - had been doing quite well then end of last week incision started to ooze and today have had pain in the bladder area and really bad cramps again. its an early night for me now as tomorrow i have to supervise my house move - it will be really hard not doing anything and i feel tired just at the thought of it.

Molly - I really glad that your sister is driving to the funeral, rather than you. I was really concerned about you driving 7 hours. Please be careful. I'm so sorry about your friend's brother.

Amy - You are so right about one step forward, two steps back. Today, I'm very tired. I have no energy. And I am so tired of waking up with pain. I ready for the pain to stop. It's not that bad, but just enough to drive me crazy.

I called my doctor. They want me to take it easy today and come in tomorrow around lunch. So I will find out then. I haven't done much today.

I am thinking I probably just pulled a muscle or something but I rather the doctor tell me that. I would hate not to have checked and it cause problems down the road.

I still feel pretty much like a wimp.

I hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend. If you are going out of town or "celebrating" make sure you take it easy.

I am 4 weeks post op today and am definatly having good days and bad days. It hink alot of my problem is that I am use to having alot to do and now am down to only the little things. Today I am having alot of back pain. I am using the patch Climra 0.05mg and notice that on some days I have really bad hot flashes. But on some day I dont have any at all. Has anyone experianced this. I also had a couple really bad nights of sleep, but lat night was not to bad. Does it take the body awhile to adjust to the Climra or should I call my DR? For the most part aI am able to get around good and do light house cleaning and cooking. But I sure am sore and dont think that I am over doing it. I dont want to put myself back. I guess I just thought I would be further laong by now.

I also thought I'd be further along by now. However, my Dr did tell me that it would take me 3-4 months to be completely healed and that was definitely not what I whated to hear.

Molly- Good that you are having a travel partner! I am glad you will not be making that trek alone and that you will be able to be there for your friend.
Take it easy and look forward to hearing that all went well when you return!
