I mess up!

I got too excited and decided to try sex. My Bad! Now I have been bleeding since last night. If it is still going monday morning I will call the doctor. I feel stupid. I cried, my boyfriend was so sweet and understanding.

Believe it or not I have been doing everything else so I just figured. I am all better. WRONG-O!

Along with the bleeding I am having aches and cramps again. I feel like such a moron. I should have known better but after not seeing each other for a week I just got to excited.

Will let you know what the doctor says on Monday if I have to go.

Update

Haven't been on-line for a while, but have been thinking about all of you and wondering how you're progressing...
I'm doing well. Started venturing out at the 3 1/2 - 4 week mark and feel fine apart from coming home exhausted each time. In the last week managed to do a bit of damage with the credit card!!! Felt good tho!
Have yet to go back to work. I was told to hold off until 16 Sep due to the nature of my work - physical therapist. Can't decide whether to jump straight back in full time or to do it gradually. I know that gradually is the right way to go but there is so much pressure there with long waiting lists etc, that I will feel guilty leaving early each day.
I've been very lucky with a pretty uneventful recovery and no complications as yet. Started walking more seriously a couple of weeks ago but it really aggravates my back pain. Will get back to yoga next month which I'm looking forward to.
Sending you all love and positive vibes... until next time... be well and happy and be kind to yourselves.

Hey there Molly
Have been thinking about you a lot and all you have to deal with. I hope that despite the wound setbacks, you're feeling a little better. I'm full of admiration for you and all the "sisters" who are not only dealing with recovery froom major surgery, but also coping with cancer and treatments and all that goes with it. You're all amazingly strong women and an example to us all.
Sending you lots of love and loads and loads of encouragement.
My wish for you is to be happy and most importantly, healthy.

Chani - I hate to say this, but what were you thinking?!!! Call the Dr first thing Monday morning and let us know how you are.

Ktys - Sorry to hear about your cold. Hopefully, you'll feel better soon.

Post hyst - Sounds like you're recovering well. I envy you with the yoga. I've been wanting to start yoga for some years now, but due to the fibroids bleeding me to death, for three years I was only able to do power walking, which finally was cut out too. But it's time to get my life back, gradually of course!!!

Nurses at hospital were friendly, supportive and kind.
The only person who is CLUELESS honkerblonking me off is my husband. The kitchen is a mess the floor needs to be vac'd. I am so honkerblonked. Had to even get my own water last night. Loser.
I had the same problem (pain in in sciatica nerve and down my left leg) you are having for the first three weeks following my surgery (radical hyster). When I started walking my left foot and leg felt numbish. It went away at 3 weeks and was noticably better after increasing my walking.

Same pain as before surgery??????

I am now a little over 5 weeks post op & have the same burning stabbing pain on my lower right side of stomach. I had an LSH & kept my ovaries & cervix. I thought that taking out the uterus would get rid of this pain along with the bleeding. Why am I still having this pain? I'm starting to get VERY depressed about this. The Dr. said that my uterus was terrible looking & had aA LOT wrong with it. I'm VERY confused as to why I'm still having this pain. Anyone else have anything like this?

eburg5 - You and I had the same surgery on the same date. I was not having pain in my right side, but instead on my left side (before surgery). I thought it was my hernia; however, it was my uterus pressing on my intestines. That pain went away after my surgery, but then I started having the burning pain on both my right and left sides. It has finally stopped, but occasionally I still get it (especially when I reach for something). My Dr said that it was nerves regenerating. You may want to ask your Dr about it and see what he says. Don't get depressed. But please contact your Dr about it. Take care of yourself and let us know.

eburg5, do you have an appointment scheduled for your 6 weeks?
I went in on Friday and said I am still healing, so it just needs more time to heal. I have about 2 more weeks before I will be pretty much back to normal.
When doctor takes a look I bet you will know more.

Hi Heidi & Deneen. I went in last Friday & he said that everything was looking pretty healed so I am clueless as to why the pain is still here???? He said the ovaries looked good too. He said I could do pretty much anything but not too heavy lifting. This is the SAME burning, stabbing pain. I think I'll give him a call tomorrow. It hurts if I'm laying down & try to get up. Very tender to the touch also? NO IDEA?? Don't feel like having any more surgery either. I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks girls, hope your all dooing well!!
