Hi Girls!

Moss- It's great to hear from you again!! I am praying that your situation gets better. I know how stressful that must be.

Ktys- I hope you're healing!

Jazz- It's great to hear from you again!

Diethelp- If your doctor did an internal exam and gave the okay I'd say you're fine. But if he didn't, I'd ask for one before doing too much. I was feeling totally fine and then went in for my 6 week check-up and they said I wasn't healing and I have 6 more weeks of restrictions. So even though I had no pain and felt fine, my insides weren't healing.

Hope everyone is doing well- I can't remember every one's names!!

Take Care!
Jennine

Hello ladies!
Today went real well. I remembered to do a kegel anytime I had to lift anything at work and I think before long it will be second nature.
I wasn't as tired as I thought I would be. Which was good because while brushing this morning I had a filling fall out! WTH? So 45 minutes after work I was off to get that redone.
Then I had to make DS something to eat before I took him to drivers ed and now it is time to go pick him up. I am so glad non of you live near me - only because DS is going to be driving soon!!!!! YIKES

I hope to check in later but I am planning on hitting the sheets early.

Moss, it was so good to read your post! What kind of job did you get? I think I missed that post.
How is your daughter and the kids?

I was doing great, until tonight. I started having pain across over my stomach and actually had to take a pain pill! I believe it was all stress related. My youngest DS (he's in the third grade) has a test tomorrow in science and just brought home all of his material to study tonight. He said that they were not finished on Friday completing the review papers, so he couldn't bring them home over the week-end to study. This is a five page review package on force and motion. My DH is p*ssed! Not only that our 15 yr DD had to be driven to a friend's house to finish a Spanish project, along with our neighbor's son and the neighbor did not even offer to pick them up. Not to mention that our other DS (fifth grader) had a take-home test he had to complete tonight. Thanks for letting me vent!

Heidi - I'm sure your DS isn't that bad at driving. But believe me I know how you feel - my DD has her beginner's permit and scares me to death!

My surgery was 8-6-07 and it went well. They found cancer in my uterus, but got it all. I met with gynocological oncologist and do not need further treatment. I returned to work today full-time after easing into it last week with half days. I have found myself to be rather weepy, which is not me at all in the past. So far this seems to be the only side effect. I am meeting with my dr. on Friday and wonder how to decide about HRT or no HRT. I would like to hear from others as to how they decided. Thanks for this great service.

Bettyboop, That must have been scary to find out there was cancer in there but I am so glad they got it all out and you don't have to endure any treatments. I would suggest that you make a blanket question on a new thread on the post op board about HRT. There is a much better chance of getting some help and suggestions in this area. I actually kept my ovaries so I can't help ya much.
Thanks for chimming in!

My first day back to work went well! The kids were all so happy to see me, I felt like a celebrity! We have an assembly every Monday morning, and after they welcomed me back, I taught them how to hug me so I wouldn't get mobbed and get hurt!

I'm tired tonight, but not really as tired as I thought I might be. We'll see if I'm still saying this on Friday after 5 days! I'm so thankful that I am working parttime this year. I don't think I could've gone back now if I was working full days. I didn't leave until 1:00 today, but usually it will be noon.

Hope everyone has a good tomorrow!

Soonershep I am so glad that you had a good day back. I bet the kids were happy to see you. They were so happy to see me as well. I was on computer so I got to see each kid that came through the line and I got many hugs and warm welcomes.
That as nice that you only have to work until noon. It sure helps.
Have a good day tomorrow.

Hi everyone, I haven't been checking in for the last week or so, seems like every step forward brings two back on some days.
BettyBoopFun, I had an HRT patch on my backside when I woke up from surgery. I replace it every week. I am going to use this until my six week checkup and then will start doing some research on my alternatives.
I cannot imagine going back to work yet. My stomach is still very swollen over my incision, so I am basically wearing stretchy workout pants.
This site has been so helpful through all this.
