hi im new in here and dont know what to do..

Hi, and welcome! You'll find this site a great resource for the journey you're about to go through. Take some time and see all the links in pre and post op and jot down your questions as you read the sisters' experiences.

I would say the waiting for surgery is the hardest part. I am only on the other side for two weeks and my recovery is going great! When I saw my doctor today she commented on how great I looked and I replied, "What surgery?"

Good luck and if you have questions after reading more, just ask. I'm here a lot!!

hi im new in here and dont know what to do..

welcome. just make sure to ask your dr about all your options. ask him about some of the least invasive types of hysterectomies because of the easier recovery. ask about keeping your cervix and ovaries so you do not need hormone replacement therapy. and its always good to get a second opinion. good luck with everything

hi im new in here and dont know what to do..

Read, read, read these boards. So much information from women who have "been there, done that"!!!

The emotional support here is absolutely fabulous. I don't have my date yet, but will on Friday. My best to you, and try to stay calm, I'm sure you're in good hands.

hi im new in here and dont know what to do..

I'm pretty new here myself and I read EVERYDAY just to keep myself feeling good. I've got a little over two weeks before my TAH and I'm getting really anxious. I'm so ready.

Good luck and be sure to do your research before visiting your doctor. You've taken a big step in the right direction finding this site.
