Prayers and thoughts for you Tracy, hoping you come back with all good news.

I too have my 6 week check up today, I am ready for some hormones, sleeping all night has become a challenge. Wake up hot then wake up cold and crying over nothing. It all just started a few days ago, after almost 6 weeks I thought maybe I wasn't going to have any.

have a good day all and see ya after the Dr.

Okay, I am going to be brave and tell everyone this..... Last night when my DH and I were having a little fun (without too much fun!), he noticed a little white coming out of my nipples. So needless to say after we were done, we both looked again and sure enough I was LACTATING!!! We started laughing hysterically! It's been 7 1/2 years since I nursed my last child! And that only lasted a few weeks! HAHA.... So, it was kinda funny. Then we both said, boy, my hormones MUST be outta wack! TOO FUNNY. Just wondered if I'm the only lucky lady. Trust me, it's not like they were being stimulated in that way either!

Hi Thinktink...I hope that you've been able to get out at least a little in the last couple of days...

Hi ZeldaBean, doing okay today?

I was also hoping for a post from tracyd. Maybe she's out celebrating wonderful news...thinking good thoughts here.

I'm still cathing myself and my 6 week post op is tomorrow. I'm nervous about asserting my rights as a patient and getting a urology referral...I'm pretty sure that I've made up my mind to switch gynos as well...scary since he's the only one I've ever been to.

Today I learned something new about my bladder, which is kinda gross and TMI. But I was out and about and found myself in pain and having to pee at the grocery store and I didn't have my catheter with me. When I get like this my bladder seems to lock up. I was desperate so I had to put pressure on my bladder from the inside...gross I know, but it helped and I was able to relieve enough to get me to my catheter and empty my bladder properly. I wonder if this means my bladder is swollen or the urethra is blocked...I'll have to ask tomorrow...but then again, if I'm going to be changing drs should I be looking for more answers from him?

feeling yucky and it's my fault

lil o me i cannot believe you had to go thru what you did, i hope you find some good answers with your new md's My prayers continue for you.

I go for my 6 week tomorrow, 2 days early. I am not looking forward to this visit. I did work Mon and Tues and what should have been a 4 hour day both turned into 7 hours. Too much!!! If I get the ok from md tommorow to return to normal activity, what is normal anyway. I still do not feel like myself. Tonight I hurt and the days I did work I couldn't even do anything when I got home except to rest. I didn't even check with my hystersisters as I didn't have any energy.

Glad we're all still moving right along. Tonight I feel worse than I did last week. My lower belly feels all pins and needles with a lot of pressure down below. My DH thinks we're going to get the ok for sex tomorrow--ouch

Hopefully I will feel better after a night's rest. I told work I wanted the rest of my six weeks to get my act together.

I should have listened to you all when we discussed going back to work early. I was feeling so good before last Friday. Maybe I just need a couple of days.

Is anyone having any bowel control problems post this far into our recovery. I thought everything was going so well when yesterday I had an accident (if I want to call it that) just before leaving for work I lost complete control. No warning, no gas nothing ....I felt like I was 90 years old. This is the second time this has happened and I am wondering if maybe my bowel was nicked, still partially asleep or what happened during surgery. Never had this problem EVER in my life. It is making me scared !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I wish!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know back to BM talk, but this is freaking me out. I don't know how to say anything to MD tomorrow because it is so so embarassing.

Well until tomorrow report everyone have a good night and morning.

lilolme... I would be demanding answers from him and if you don't get any I would be asking the nurses in his office their advice, I have had a few nurses say "I didn't tell you this but" and I have yet to have one let me down.....
