Hello Ladies,

I've recovered nicely from my LAVH - I had no problems, I was very fortunate. However, there's always a however isn't there - I started having gall bladder problems! So, guess what has to come out next! Yup, you guessed it.

Has that happened to anyone?

Wow. It's been so long since I've been on...mostly I just watch my e-mail to find out when others post and hadn't gotten any notices for awhile. I know that we're all so busy with our lives and family, but I do miss knowing how you are doing...

Kristi, I'll be sending prayers for your son. I'm so sorry, that must be so difficult for your family.

I'm also still having bladder problems...but nothing new since my update after the appt with the urologist. Just hanging in there.

MsCapeE...another surgery for the gallbladder...ugh. I bet you're thinking "enough already". Good luck with the upcoming surgery...I hope your recovery is speedy and uneventful.

Tracy, Andrea, Sandy and everyone else ... I still think of all of you often, but life is soooo busy, I need to slow down.

Take care, I hope to get back on in a day or two.

Lis

Hey everyone

I started back to work part-time last week and this week I am working up to eight hours-- 1 extra hour each day. I will work a full day Friday. When no one was posting for awhile I found myself a little sad. I feel as if I have gotten to know so many of you and we have helped eachother through a major change in our lives. I was really missing posting with everyone everyday. But then again I am glad to be back to my life at the same time.

Kristi-I will be praying for you and your son. My favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6. It has really helped me when I don't understand why things are happening.

MsCapeE-You poor thing--When do you have the gallbladder surgery?

Sandy--My Dr. put me on Premarin at first and I didn't like it so he changed to dose. It still made me feel wierd, just not normal. Then he switched me to the Vivelle Dot and we had to play with the dose for awhile, but now I love it. I have no night sweats, mood swings or anything. I feel better hormonally than I did before the surgery. There are so many choices out there, if one is not working keep trying. Each one affects us differently. Don't just settle for something find the one that works best for your body.

Lis--Keep hanging in there. I know what you mean about being so busy. I sorta miss the slow days now.

Andrea, Kristi, Maggie and everyone else--Glad to hear from you all. I guess we are all back to most of our normal routines.

Hello Ladies,
I can't believe how good I feel . I was sick with bronchitis for about a week and didn't want to do anything.

I'm still off of work until Nov 4th. The hematoma seems to be dissipating however, slowly.

My DH and I went to Vegas for our anniversary over the last weekend.
I actually did half the

I'm considering taking on some weeds in my flowerbed today. We'll see it's still early, I may not want to rush into anything so strenuous. lol

So here's to us getting back to the old grind
Take care all

Hi to everyone

Just wanted to say hi and see how everyone is doing. I have had my ups and downs since the surgery. It was a pretty tough week last week due to the depression. I am feeling ok and glad to hear that Lis had her appt. with the specialist.

MsCapeE, I had gall bladder surgery in 2005. I was in pain for about a week and then felt good. I ended up with 3 small incisions in my abdomin. The gall bladder attacks were worse then the surgery.

My energy level is pretty much back to normal. College classes have kept me busy so I haven't had much time to e-mail.

God bless!

Noreen

we're still okay in this location

Hi all

I went on clubhouse but it begins with our "first" threads so I guess we continue here???

It is 9 weeks for me I see MD for my 10 week on Wednesday 10/17. I still feel pulling in my vaginial area, the same sensation in my abdomen . Some days I feel like I use to most days I still feel this pulling. I cannot yet lie flat on my back, still the pulling sensation. Anyone else feel this still.

Tired at the end of the workday, and as the week goes by I actually fall into bed after dinner. I am so looking forward to getting some real exercise because I feel heavy, even though my weight hasn't changed.

On a good note, my body is functioning just fine, no mood swings depression or anything else I had expected. Of course I am on HRT maybe that has helped.

I miss our daily threads but check once a week to see how everyone is doing.

Have a good weekend ladies, and remember it still hasn't been 3 months yet !!

I have to say I feel better than I have in a long time, so glad I had the surgery.

Hey Everyone:

Just checking in to see how everyone was doing. Moushiel I sometimes feel like that especially when I get back from my 2nd job at the pharmacy after standing on my feet all day. But otherwise I am doing well. Happy to feel like my old self again (give or take a few things here and there). It is great to be up and about.

Miss talking to everyone as well. But will keep in touch through are little thread here. Have a great rest of the week and weekend ladies!!

Andrea
