Hi Kristi, thanks so much for posting...I've really been wondering how you and David are doing. Things really are moving right along for David. It sounds like you've had some better news recently. I'll keep wishing and praying for both of you. I'll be checking the website that you posted, but wanted to reply here first.

I hope that the new year is better for all of us too, but especially you and David and your family.

Take care Kristi, and I'll try to e-mail or pm you soon.

Andrea and Lis~~please visit the site I set up for David. His surgery is now not until Feb 4. The doctor wants the tumor to shrink a bit more; to get it away from the blood vessels that are very close. So he has one more cycle of chemo. We go back on Wednesday. Keep praying, though. Thanks. Again, please read his site. It case you forgot where it is, it is www.caringbridge.org/visit/davidkoury. Thank you.

Thank you for remembering him. Please pray that everything goes well, the surgery will be at least 6 hours long. Thanks for visiting his caringbridge site. Gotta run, still need to finish packing! Take care. Thanks for writing.

Wink - Hysterectomy dates Aug 06-Aug 13,2007 Just Hello again . . .

I Ladies,

I haven't been on the site in a while. Had my gall bladder out in December . . . the week before Christmas. I usually crash after work and haven't been on the net as frequently. I hope everyone is doing well and Kristi I hope your son is doing well also.

Hi Ladies

It's been many months since I logged in here - I do hope that you are all doing well. It's been 6 months since our operations - hard to believe it was all so long ago! I'm feeling fine and everything seems to be back to normal. Work, travel, golf, etc are back to pre-op levels. A possible transition is that due to my husband's work we may have the opportunity to move from Singapore back to Sydney. It would be wonderful if we could as both my daughters (now 20 and 22) are there and it's time we were all together again.

Kristi - I just want to let you know that I am thinking of you and David and send lots of love and healing wishes to him. I visited his wonderful website. What a lovely boy he is and I do hope that you and your family are all are coping well as he goes through all the treatments.

Love, Jane

Happy Hysterversary.....

Wow... cannot believe it has been a year since our hysterectomies! I cannot believe I cried when I saw the Hysterversary checkpoint. Was a bit surprised by my reaction, since it all went well and I have been doing fine this past year.

How is everyone else doing?

This summer while I have been off from teaching I have been trying to get back in shape. I was given the go ahead at Christmas, but some things still made me ache. Then at spring break it seemed better. This summer I still find I can stress part of my abdomen a bit too much if I am not careful, but for the most part have enjoyed feeling at home in my body again. Have not really lost any weight, but have toned some things up and hopefully this is just the beginning. This time last year the fibroid which caused the surgery was so large I could not ride my bike. So this summer it has really been a pleasure to stretch and ride and walk and run even!

Hope this finds everyone well!

Hello sisters,
I too can't believe it's been a year! Thank goodness the surgery was a success. I don't miss going down the tampon aisle for ANYTHING! Ha Ha Ha...
I'm off for a morning bike ride at the beach with my 2 sisters-in-law. They were with me at the hospital last year at this time. This summer is much better.
Kristi, I look at David's webpage occasionally, and think of you often. Wow good ol' Patch Adams (Robin Williams) making David's day. Neato.
Hope to hear from you all soon.
