Swollen abdomen with Endo?

I have read on here of others having a swollen abdomen when they have adeno but has anyone also gotten it with endo? I ask this because I have been told that I have endo but not sure that is all of the problem because over the past copule months my abdomen has been swollen and uncomfortable and just never heard of anyone having this with endo.

Bloating can be one of the symptoms of endometriosis along with irritable bowel, bladder, constipation, and pain. You can learn more about endo by reading through the Endometriosis Resources. If you do not have one, you may want to consider an endometriosis specialist.

Bloating can be a sign of many other medical conditions so it is a good idea to be sure your doctor is aware that you are experiencing bloating.

Sorry to hear of the swelling. I have had a belly swelling before my hystrectomy from endo, and still have it after the hystrectomy. Very uncomfortable, can understand your pain.

Swollen abdomen with Endo?

I know there is a little endo because I had a cyst removed from each ovary and during one of those surgeries they found and removed some endo. The pain though that I usually feel is like really bad cramps...Tuesday it felt like my insides were turning inside out. I actually never used to have any cramps, but over the last couple years started to and they were getting worse until I started continuous birth control. From what I've read it seems like endo is more of a sharp pain, usually where the endo is and not cramping. Am I right in my thinking?

the pain from endo is quite different from a menstrual cramp pain, it feels more like a constant irritation and someone is scraping at your insides. Can't explain it any other way, but that.

My pain doesn't feel like that. Occasionally I will have some sharper, more stabbing pain in my pelvis but overall the pain that is pretty much there all of the wonderful time is more of a cramping....from mild and just annoyingly there to feeling as if my insides are turning inside out. I just keep wondering if it isn't adeno....hmmmm
