My surgeon also said he had no concerns about orgasm. I was at postop day 18 when we discussed this and I confessed to having already indulged several times. (Boy, did I race through that part of the conversation--it was a hard question to ask even for this seasoned member of the sex-drugs-and-rock-'n'-roll generation. I think his nurse being in the room at the time made it a little easier than it would have been one-on-one.)

You are pretty far, about 2 1/2 hours (what a shame!) Nothing personal but I'm not quite ready for that drive yet. I was thinking of the Hanover, PA that is just south of York. Well, it's been great reading your posts too bad we can't connect for real!!!!

Hi, Day 16 for me. The weather is gorgeous here in SW Missouri so I walked this morning, paid bills and washed my sheets. I had a nice nap in the PM and went to the minor league baseball game tonite. What a blast! I acutally fit into a big pair of cargo capris with a zipper. That means I can wear my fat suits for my work deal in two weeks, Yipee. I am sooo sick of stretch pants, drawsting shorts and sweat pants. I felt like a human I am burning my drawsting shorts when this is all over. In my front yard as I am sure my nieghbors are tired to seeing them every single day. How many times can they show "Sound of Music" in the same week??? Thanks for all the wonderful tips and encouragement on this site. This is why I have not vacumed the house. Oh, the cat hair. Like the rest of you, I don't drive much. It tires me out and I still use a little pillow when I drive. I am lucky everything is so close by, the store, my office, etc. Have a great Labor day all.

Thank you gals
DH & I have been doing some "playing" around and I've had several orgasms. It's funny, I can't talk about this stuff to other people, but I have no problem doing it here! I guess its the anonymity that makes it so easy! Anyway, before surgery, my sex drive was non existant, but now, look out! :bedjump: I had everything removed and am using the Climara patch for HRT. I started that while still in the hospital. My DH wishes I would have had the patch years ago!!! Intercourse kind of scares me though. I have a vaginal cuff & the thought of it tearing scares the bajeepers out of me! It will be AT LEAST 6 weeks (if not more) before I'll be brave enough to try that!

I cut both of my boys' hair today & I am sore from being on my feet for that long. I go back to work on Tuesday (I had surgery on Aug 16), but I'm not worried. I am a VERY part time secretary with an AWESOME boss. If I start to not feeling well, I can go home no problem. When I sit most of the day, I do pretty well. But, if I am on my feet a lot, I get pretty uncomfortable at the end of the day. The only reason I did the haircuts is because school pictrues are this week and I couldn't take their long hair anymore!

Have a good night, ladies!!

Birds of A Feather?

And oh aren't we just a preening bunch?

I love it! I've felt like a teen again. With the full moon I began to wonder where the fear was, and I almost - ALMOST - caught myself prepping for a trip to Wally-World to buy some tampons! I'm not a member of that crowd any more! They punched my ticket and I was barred from the club! I'm so happy!

What a relief to see so many of us are feeling the "old magic" seeping back into our lives! Isn't it nice to find out that little factoid...cause yep...I was more than a tad concerned!

Now...to convince the bf that it's totally safe to play smart! He's still concerned about "breaking" me. LOL Finally told him he could play with me, or I could play without him. While he was a nice addition to the "equation"; he was not neccessary to arrive at the answer to the "problem". I'm starting to feel wicked again, so life is getting back to situation normal.

I return to work tomorrow with the understanding that I can work from home as much as neccessary. I'm mostly going in to pick up change orders and invoices, review billings and such. I test drove the 1hr 15min last week and came home and took a 4 hour nap.

Well ladies, enjoy the holiday and take it easy. Remember that you don't have to cook and clean for everyone! We're still princesses and queens!
