Finished my first full week back at work. Friday morning, when I woke up, my belly was sore - and that continued all day. Just enough to be annoying and uncomfortable, but nothing too terrible.

No problems with moods. Considering I could be a real b**ch before surgery, and my moods changed quicker than the second hand on the clock, that's saying a lot!

I guess we'll be moving to the "clubhouse" next week; hope everyone will keep in touch.

Glad to hear you're all doing well!

How do we get to the clubhouse?

I do have an od question but I feel I can ask it here........after surgery I found a small lump in my pubic area now there are two. My rash did clear up and they are not itchy or do they hurt but I wonder why they are there. They seem to be near the bone small pea size.

Any suggestions as to what I should do? I'm not sure what doctor I should see.....my husband thinks it might be in ingrown hair he gets them in his beard......let me know what you guys may think.

I used to get ingrown hairs in that area occasionly when I was younger (my husband in his beard also) ... I would have him take a look , maybe he can see if it is or not. Hopefully that is all that is.

I'm not sure about the clubhouse thing. I'm sure someone will let us know, at least I hope so!!.

Glad to see everyone chugging along.

...made it through week two of work. I've been making sure I use my prep time wisely because I've vowed not to take anything home with me. I'm too darned exhausted at the end of the day.

I have no pain where my stitches are concerned, occasional itching, and I'm regular. I still can't completly sleep on my stomach without feeling like I'm pulling something unless I bend one of my legs upwards. My biggest complaint is the fact that my feet hurt like *^$# by the end of the day when I wear heels. Did the fact that I didn't wear them much all through summer break and med leave make that much of a difference in my feet?

I have completely forgotten I ever had a period it's so weird. No looking at my calendar and marking days, no wondering if my stash is replenished...wow. I did get reminded of it briefly this week when I went to a breast self-exam class and they made the usual 'examine yourself after your period has ended' statement. I started to raise my hand to ask the obvious question but I decided 'TMI'. lol I'll say this though, period or no period, I did experience my 'week of tenderness' in my breast area last week so I guess the ovaries are working fine. So I'll do my exams when the tenderness ceases I guess.

When your thread is 8 weeks old, it will be moved to the Clubhouse, where you can keep up the friendships you have formed here.

If anyone has a question about their recovery, please ask by starting a NEW thread in the Post Op forum. That way you'll have the benefit of many members, and not only those who post in this thread.

Hi Ule, MyTime and everyone else.........glad to see most of us are moving forward.....Ule I feel for you with the feet....I have been wearing flats and my feet still ache........I worked yesterday for 13 hrs as the day shift girl was sick and figured I could use the money...I had also worked 2 5hr shifts this week, so today I took a 4hr nap as I was exhausted...and my job is not even that demanding.....I also just realized it has been 2 months without any period which would have normally taken up about 5 of those weeks......all the girls at work are envious of that...LOL........guess we will be moved over to the clubhouse soon....hope everyone keeps in touch....

To get to the Clubhouse, go to Forums, then Hysteritaville, then HysterSisters Clubhouse, then Date Clubs - I think our thread will be moved over to that area.

I'd definitely have the doc take a look. I had something that sounds similar years ago, in the same area, and my doctor said it was calcium deposits.

I notice that pulling when I lay on my stomach, too. Like you, if I bend one leg up, it helps. Odd.

Good point about the breast self exam, too. So far, I haven't felt any "cycle" symptoms (which sort of makes me wonder if my ovaries are working). Need find another way to remind myself to keep up on the monthly exams.

Not having a period is glorious, isn't it!!?? Sometimes, I think about how miserable I was before and just can't believe how much better life is!

Glad everyone's making progress.
