Wow! It is so great to hear that so many of us are well on our way to recovery. Sounds like you all have had a very good day.

It must be something in the air.... I had a really good day too. Did a bit of light housework and a few loads of laundry. No heavy lifting, I didn't want to push my luck. I am in a small amount of pain this evening and took an Ibuprofen to help with that but it's nothing major. My only concern is the continued numbness and sunburnt feeling. Anyone else still having this?

It appears that there may be a light at the end of this tunnel.

Wishing all of my sisters more happy days of recovery....

Much love and prayers.....

~Lynn

All is well!

Hi Everyone
Yes I too am feeling almost normal again and I was even told I looked radiant ...
I helped my DD do the washing taking care not to lift anything heavy. Also I planted some winter flowering pansies in a garden pot and a few spring bulbs - it was lovely to be able to potter again in the garden
Lynn, yes I still have the numbness that makes my belly feel like its been stuck on and not quite part of me and occasionally the belly swelling that comes and goes
I phoned Doc today and blood test result is almost back to normal, just a few concerns so need to repeat test in 1 month.
Have a good day everyone

Returning to work today. Not thrilled, not because I do not feel well, just that I am still tired by the end of the day and would rather use all my energy on my kids. Luckily, I do work part time, so no work tomorrow. I am a crisis social worker, so it can be very draining. No pain anymore, still have light bleeding, and numbness around left incision. Still find that I have less energy than before (but I know i need to remind myself it has only been 41/2 weeks!)
Have a good day!

OK, I just have to share that my Doctor completely ROCKS!!! Every time I take antibiotics I get our "favorite" infection the next time my cycle rolls round. Well sure enough, last Thursday my ovaries kicked into gear just enough to start the usual bloating, breakouts and bad mood. While I was thrilled to know that they are still alive and well, I was not-so-happy about the accompanying Y.I.

I called my doctor's office this morning and whined alot - fully expecting to be told that he would have to see me before giving me anything to help. I was REALLY dreading that, since I live almost 3 hours away from the hospital he is stationed at, and it would involve me taking 1/2 day off work and my boss would not give me the time off for it.

Much to my surprise, he offered to call in an RX (with a refill even!!) for me to a pharmacy here! So I should feel better SOON and without a loooooong roadtrip!! He's the bestest!!

Doodlebee, just remember to take it easy and don't overdo! You should be alright, but it isn't worth it to push yourself. Let us know how it goes!

Butterfly -- I also have the yeast infection problem with antibiotics --
have found that eating yogurt helps diminish it some -- but sometimes there is no getting away from the wool underware in summer time feeling that comes with the yeast infection.

Glad that your doctor will give you an RX without going to visit them -- At least you will get some relief fast.

Best wishes.

I feel great below the waist, but this cold is making me want to cut my head off! I hate when you can hear the sinus pressure popping and squeeking....
