6 weeks post op TVH - need some advice

Had my ultrasound this morning on my legs. Still don't know anything. The girl who did my ultrasound said she would give it to the radiologist and then to my doctor and then I should hear something, but it might be a couple of days. So I would imagine she didn't see anything to bad or they would have kept me. Don't you think?! Anyway that's good if they didn't see anything, but it's bad in a way, because it doesn't tell me what's wrong. For that I will have to go see my family dr. Thank you sister's for your responses and concern!

Bless you all!!!!!

I also was given the go away last week to return to doing things. So could it be over doing it or what? Need some advice!!
I am 7 Weeks post TVh, At 6 weeks I started having the swollen belly too. I think I was starting to feel better and just overdid it. So I just rested again, the swelling went down and I am not trying to do everything I wanted to do all at once. Just ease your way in..................Keep me posted too. Good Luck and hang in there This week I feel much better than last week. I stayed awake for the whole day yesterday and wasn't even fatigued. I thought that wasn't gonna happen!

I so know this is the last thing you want to hear, but I had swelly belly literally for 6 months. Had TAH BSO 8/1 and could not get into my regular pants a whole day comfortably until the Super Bowl! I am happy to say that ever since then I radically turned the corner and have had a normal belly ever since. However, every once in a while I will still stretch the wrong way etc. and I am reminded that I had that surgery. I think when they say it takes a full year to completely get over the surgery they are correct. It was weird b/c my weight was not really up but a few pounds, but my belly would swell up half way through the day and not go down until the a.m. and then it would start all over again. Strange.
