She has a great sense of humor and knows how to work the crowd. I think people forget this is a reality show, one where America votes. If you get the votes, you move on, if you don't get the most votes, you're out. What's the big deal?
I agree, Kim. I was totally disappointed with last night's show. I expected to see more in the freestyle round - but, it was kind of "blah" (easy for me to say, I can't chew gum and walk at the same time! )

I, too, love Marie, but was bothered by some of her remarks last night at scoring time.

My -- I'm hoping Mel will win. She was a bit much for me in the beginning, but I've grown to like her. I think she's the best dancer, and she's shown the steadiest improvement through the season.

We'll see. I'll be tuned in at 8! Whatever the result, it was an entertaining run!

I hope Helio and Julianne win. Helio is probably the only contestant that doesn't have a dance background. I think they are the best couple. Mel B takes second. Marie is entertaining but she just didn't dance as well as the others did last night. The doll dance would have been good on the Donny and Marie show but I don't think it belonged in a dance competition.

Capemay, you got your wish. Helio won. I think that he's adorable - seems like a really nice guy and lots of fun to watch.

I agree....I thought either Mel B or Helio were well deserving....Helio and Julianne are adorable...I was very happy for them...I felt bad for Mel B but she was a good sport...she worked very hard this season.....I also was turned off by Marie the night before...I thought she showed very poor sportsmanship and should have held her tongue and taken her lumps...she was by far not the best dancer......wonder what next season holds?

Helio and Julianne were adorable - he seems so "real" and down to earth - couldn't help but be thrilled for them. And, I was glad Mel was gracious! I love that show!

jeanus,
Yes, the best couple won! I hope it wasn't because my wish was fulfilled. I was going to buy a lottery ticket today and was hoping THAT wish would be fulfilled. I don't want to be greedy and ask for too much, lol. I really think that it was because the NASCAR fans called and voted for him. YES, that's why he won, it had NOTHING to do with my wish!
Now I can purchase my lottery ticket with confidence! lol

WISH me LUCK!!

I am pleased with the results last night. Helio has shown great sportsmanship, drive, and improved every step of the way.

Mel did a good job as well, and she should be proud of her efforts that she put forth.

Helio

I too am so happy Helio won. He has a lot of talent and is such a happy upbeat person. Wonder what's up with his fiancee, I certainly would not dump such a hunk!! Looks like the judges were either surprised or disappointed that he won though.

Oh, yeah. I heard Donny might be on next season. I hope not though. Too much Osmonds in the news lately.

Congrats to Helio and Julianne. They are now the proud owners of an obnoxious looking ball trophy. It was an interesting season. As usual, some controversy, but lots of fun. I am looking forward to next season. I hope the judges get more real with their scoring.

I think Donny should wait a season before signing on. I think some will think he is riding on Marie's coat tails and he will end up getting voted out early. So...if Donny is listening...WAIT... I would love to see him on the show, I think he would be extremely entertaining. Yep, I still have Puppy Love when it comes to Donny O
