I don't like seeing my dogs footprint smudges on the floor but I know that they will still be there tomorrow if I don't do anything.
I have used both Swiffer wet and dry. As long as you're not extending too much, pushing or pulling. The wet rag on the floor should work well too. We are such clean freaks! Being home all day and looking at it is torture...

My doctor sort of smiled and giggle and then said "yes, you can swiffer". She said she really likes her swiffer as well!

She just said don't really push down to scrub, a light cleaning should do it.

If the Swiffer people only knew, they would post ads.

I swiffered my utility room and kitchen today. It felt so good. I had an ulterior motive though. The ADT service technician is coming this morning and I was embarrassed about the floor. I probably would have left it except for him.

I am having problems walking my dogs. They pull a little but not much. By the time I get home my back is killing me. I don't know if it is holding their leashes or just walking.

How about you?
I can't walk my dog. She is a spontanous pitbull. She weighs 80 lbs and if she sees a cat or anything that is worth a chase....I'm dead. I tried driving last sat, I had a LAVH/RSO and I was scared when I was driving. I was scared of having others close to me. I am a very aggressive driver so this wasn't like me. This was sign I wasn't ready. I would love to drive the hills of VT with Kaya (Co-Pilot dog) but I guess I'll have to wait. What types pf dogs do ya have?

My husband didn't vacuum the family room rug yesterday when I asked him to (guess he forgot). So I used a lint roller on it! Worked great but not very efficient. I couldn't stand it anymore.

SUPER BORED!!!!!! LOL I'm so bored that I've actually started to talk to myself and now i'm even answering!!! hahaha Just kidding! But its true...when your restricted to doing even just the simplest things, our minds start to create things to think about, write about or even just talk about! Too much thinking if you ask me!
I wish i had that little gazoo guy from the flinstones to come around every now and then to wip me into shape! haha
Anyways...here's to recovery and the boredom that follows!!!

skin sore?

Perceptionist - I'm 3 weeks post op too & this IS getting OLD. Yesterday I woke up to rain, couldn't bare it so I went back to bed & woke up at 11:30 grateful that half the day had passed. I know they say to compare yourself to the first week & not your best day but I think I'm not as good as I was despite all of this walking & resting. My tummy hurts, but not really inside except for the occassional cramp. It's more like my skin is sore. Anyone else experienccing that sensation? It's not my incision either but about 3 inches above it.
