Just a little bored today

Thanks, crazyj, I give that a try. For 1 week out of the 4 week since surgery I took nothing to sleep and it was great and then the hot flashes and headaches started. Maybe a relaxing CD is just what I need. Thanks for the suggestion.

Just a little bored today

Hi Crazyj,

After 4 week I have no pain at all. That is truly wonderful. However, last night I was up most of the night with night sweats and a mild headache. I called the nurse and they upped my estrogen. I hope this will do the trick and I'll start sleeping again. Thanks for asking. How are you feeling after 2 weeks of surgery? I hope you got to sleep some. Hope you are having a good day too. Kathy

Hi Crazyj,

I'm so sorry to hear you can't drive yet. But it's probable a good idea since you had a lower abdominal incision. It's frustrating I'm sure Hopefully it won't be too much longer. I've been able to drive but haven't gone too many places yet. I'm still trying to get this hormone thing right. They doubled my dose yesterday and they gave me a lot of anxiety a few hours after I took it. That didn't help the sleeping thing at all. I went back to the regular dose i was on today and going to hang in there. What can I do?

I have 3 kids. 2 in high school and 1 in junior high. How about you do have kids? I'm a stay at home mom. Do you work? and if do when will you get to go back.

I'm glad to hear you are healing up well. I go to the doc. next week for a check. I think I need to talk to her about this hormone stuff. I hear bioidenitcal are good. maybe I should try that.

Do you have friends around to walk with or go to lunch? I hope you can get some fresh air. I'm glad to hear you are sleeping. Sorry about the driving thing.

Hope you have a good day.

Blessings,
Kathy
