Achy legs anyone?

I'm almost 3 weeks post op & have been experiencing achy legs. It's not like cramps but a dull ache.

I have the same thing. They ache all the time. When I take Advil they feel better but I am not going to take Advil all the time. I mainly take it at night.

Achy legs anyone?

Hi Lotte,

I did have the same thing=noticed it more when I was increasing my physical activity.

I do know that 4 months out; I am over that probably because I have really been working my legs overdrive (walking).

Just a piece of advice. I did contact my GYN and she felt it would be prudent to do a doppler leg ultrasound. Her reasoning is that blood clots can form in the legs after this type of surgery (and I have a problem with too MANY platelets). All was well, but I don't think it would hurt to tell your physician bout your achy legs.

Hope you feel better soon:-)

Achy legs anyone?

I had really achy legs over the weekend, glad to know I'm in good company! I have been taking several short walks a day. I started to wonder if I over did it.

Thanks, I'll mention it to my doc, I wondered about the possibility of clots too. It difficult to know how far is too far when walking. I guess I have to remember to listen to my body!
