Hello everybody,

Just got my christmas cards off. Went to agility training this morning with our dog. I'm not sore from skiing, so I guess I didn't overdo it. Sas, I definitely still feel my cycles, ovulating and PMS. I journaled since my surgery but haven't gone back to check if I'm still "regular" as I was before the surgery.

Watching the news, about the dreadful weather in the Midwest. Be careful out there you guys !!

Jan, ow are you sleeping? Keep us posted after your friday appt. This is the longest I've ever been at home since I was 16 years old and I'm really enjoying this time. I'm fed up with going to work and can't wait to retire, but I still have 5 years to go.

Have a nice afternoon and evening everybody! Think I'll go for a nap now.

Good morning ladies,

Hope your day is going well so far. I had a hard time getting up this morning...I was still sleepy. The cold makes it worse.

Work is a bit hectic this morning. I keep getting interrupted with different things. I'm going to attempt to do some payroll now. I'm going out to lunch with one of my friends today...so looking forward to that.

tonight I plan on working on our Christmas cards...dh picked them up last night from Costco. I would like to get them in the mail by Friday. This weekend I need to do some wrapping.

SAS- I know what you mean about the socks. I do the same with my dd's socks...if no pair then out they go.

Yes, the mountains are beautiful. I wok downtown Los Angeles on the 21st floor and the view is awesome.

Have a great day ladies...and don't forget to fit some rest into your day.

Hi Ladies,

Well 2 treatments down 26 to go. the radiation is not really that bad its like taking a very long x ray and the machine rotates around you, no pain or anything. Today I had 2 males techincians, I tell you at tihs point the house painter can be looking at me and I don't think i would flinch.

Radio City Music Hall was great, the kids enjoyed the show and so did we. The tree at Rockefeller Center is really nice this year, some years it is not as nice as other years, the light colors this year are different also. We took some time and went to St Patrick's Cathedral, I lit a candle and said a prayer for all of us.

Tonight's dinner is pot roast, one of those you can't go wrong with dinners!

Good Afternoon Ladies!

I have thought of you all but this is the first chance I have had to post. My DD never got to come home last night because the roads were impassable with the ice. She works at a nursing home so it was possible for her to stay over. Nut the baby got sick. Started vomiting in the middle of the night. She got what DS has. By the time I had to leave for work my MIL came to stay with her until DD could get home. My 16 year old DD helped me take care of her. By the time we left for school this morning we felt as if it were 8pm instead of 8am! I have been able to spend the day doing health histories with parents so it has been a somewhat relaxing day. At 5:30 GD's dad will pick her up for his visit so DH and I are supposed to go to dinner with MIL&FIL. Baby will return at 8:30, but DD will not have any troubles tonight as they have done a good job on the roads. This morning I was having quite a bit of soreness and pinching on the left side and thought for sure I had done something bad, but with rest it seems to have decreased.

Sas I hope your ovulation pain passes quickly. I have never quite developed my taste for sushi but my DS loves it.

Scrapper I am having the same troubles getting going in the morning, and i have wrapping to do this weekend too!!

Linda I would say that my sleep has improved but I am still longing for a full night. I will give you an update on Friday. I hope those last 5 years pass quickly for you. I have 15 left most days when I am sleeping and feeling well i don't really mind. Working with kids and families can be pretty rewarding. Unfortunately there are a handful of other professionals that can become tiresome.

Suki I have been thinking of you. I am so glad there is no pain, and I am so glad you have such a fantastic attitude. I am glad your trip was nice and thank you for the prayer that was thoughtful. Pot Roast sounds good.

I have a bit more to do so I have got to go for now. I will check in later.

I hope everyone is doing well. My power was out for almost an entire day here in Missouri. Internet, T.V. It was "little house on the Prarie" all over again. lol I have worked myself up to 5 hours at work now, but still have a small amt. of spotting.I thinkits that one area that won't heal that had to be 'silver nitrated" twivce now.

Hi everyone,

I'm finally getting to post. Another busy day. Alot of errands then supper, baths for the little ones, bedtime routine and finally kisses goodnight. DH is working late. We had stuffed pepper tonight.

Sas I didn't try the vicks yet. We didn't have any in the house last night and I haven't stopped to get any yet. My cough is a little better. I hear ya about the laundry. I will tell the kids to clean their rooms and the next thing I know there's a mountain of laundry staring at me. I still have the same pms symptoms I had before surgery. Only they don't last as long. I'm not a sushi lover, but my dh is.

Suki I'm glad your treatments have been going well. It sounds like you had a good time on your outing. I'm glad to hear that. Thanks for the prayer, you are also in my prayer. Pot roast is always an easy delicious meal. I cook mine in the crock pot all day with potatoes and carrots.

Linda I still need to get my cards out. We usually do a photo card. We normally take a photo of the kids at the tree farm and that's what we use. But I forgot to check the batteries before we left and of course they were dead and we didn't get a picture.

Quick Scrapper I hope you had a nice lunch.

Jan I sure hope you will sleep well tonight after your hectic night before. I hope your GD feels better soon. It was really nice of your DD to help you. I hope you have a nice dinner tonight. You deserve a relaxing evening.

Tina did you have a chance to talk to your dr. Please take good care of yourself.

I hope everyone sleeps well.

twobtrue,

I am from Joplin and we just got our power on after three days. Wow, do we take electricity for granted! Our neighborhood looks like a war zone with all the trees and limbs strewn everywhere. What part of Mo are you from?

Good Morning ladies,

Well I did go to dinner last night. Very nice time and great food. It was a German restaurant and I had Jaeger scnitzel, which is pork tenderloin with mushroom gravy and spaetzle and red cabbage.

When GD came home her father, I will try not to get started on him he is a real piece of work, gave her milk even though my daughter wrote a note asking him not too, but he told us he did. Naturally she started throwing curds up shortly after she returned home! My DH became very crabby and I was happy when DD returned home from work.

I slep the best I have in weeks last night. I guess utter exhaustion does the trick. I sure hope it keeps up!

Tina did you get in to the doctor? I still think you need to get that checked. I sure am glad your power is back on. Ours went out but it was off and on for for a few hours at a time, not as long as yours.

Cindy I am glad you had your day that you could catch up, but it sure sounded busy. I hope you have some time to relax today.

Well I need to get a move on for work. Have a great day and I will check back later.

Good morning ladies,

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm well...slept good last night. I've been trying to get to bed earlier since I have to be up at 5 to get ready for work. I start at 7am and leave home by 6am.

I did work on my Christmas cards last night...we do a photo card as well. Dd put on a santa hat on with a red scarf, a cream colore top and her red skirt in front of the fireplace. She came out really cute. I got the cards done and put them in the mail this morning...feels good to have them done and out!!!

Well my boss left for an all day meeting so I'm hoping to have a productive day. Lunch with my friend was great yesterday...we caught up and lunch was yummy....grilled chicken soft tacos...very generous with the chicken.

Tonight I'm picking up Pollo Loco for dinner...no time to cook...dd has choir practice tonight.

Have a great day ladies.
