Hey ladies,

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm doing pretty good...had a good night's sleep...sure feels good. Dealing with mood swings today...ugh!!

No rain - just really cool weather...actually rather grey out today.

Hyper - enjoy your little one...time sure does fly. My dd will graduate from 8th grade in June and start high school in August..wow!!!

Joan - thanks I'll mention Evista to my gyn next month.

Grateful - wow porn at work...that is crazy!! Glad you're booting them out. We have blocks here at work.

Well almost time for me to head on out and home. I'm going to the gym and taking dd to her choir practice.

Have a good evening.

Hi Ladies,
The day flew by. That is the great thing about really busy days, but Cindy you are right I am always glad when it is Friday!

Cindy I cried when my youngest went to Kndg and she just went 1/2 day. I so understand what you mean. I am feeling similar feelings about her graduating High School next year. Mostly, I try not to think too much about it!

Tina I am glad to hear from you. Congrats on making it back into jeans. I am glad things are calming down a bit for you and you are feeling so well. I still have soreness at my incision and in my tummy, too.

Joan I hope your right about those glasses not going out of style quickly, because I need to wear them for awhile at that price! Our town is small as well. Our town is an exit stop on Interstate 80 so we have quite a few fast food restaurants and a WalMart, but that is it. To get to another store you have to drive 30 miles minimum. We need more things to be built because the area is really lacking in jobs, but nothing wants to come because there is nothing here to attract people. It is a crazy situation, but maybe things will change one of these days.

Grateful it is amazing what people will do anywhere anytime. You made me laugh when you described how your thoughts changed when your son became a teenager! Thay certainly caused me many a gray hair. I am glad to hear you saw those glasses on someone and liked them. My 16 year old told me when she heard me describing them to her Dad that those were major old lady glasses.

Linda stuffed peppers is another family favorite here. Your day sounded nice, and I am glad your neck has improved. My glasses are Silhouette. It always amazes me how many things you ladies know about! I am so glad to hear your report and I am hoping to have just as much good luck, and lasting wear out of them as you did.

Scrapper I need some of your energy. Just can not seem to get it together to get on my treadmill. I am too tired after work and don't seem to be able to get the motivation in the morning as I should. I admire you for sticking so well to your gym schedule.

Suki I just loved the poem. Thank you for sharing.

It is chilly and snowing here. I am going to straighten up before DD gets home with GD. It is DD's birthday and I have some of her favorite cheesecake waiting for her.

Have a wonderful evening!

I am so glad that tomorrow is Friday It has been a long week. Today I went with DH to Fresno (1 hour away) for an interview for a promotion. Keeping fingers and toes crossed here. They said he will receive a call on Saturday.
Suki I hope that you start feeling better real soon. I cannot even imagine how uncomfortable you must feel.
Jan your glasses sound really nice. I need to make my yearly appointment sometime soon. I have had bifocals for 4 years now. I hated that past 40 thing when I couldn't read news print any longer. We are really lucky with our insurance. We have a $10.00 copay and they pay for the exam and one pair of glasses each year.
Tina I'm glad you made it back into your jeans and back to the board.
I hope everyone has a great evening

hey ladies,
The two littles ones are in bed. DH and DS race slot cars on Thurs. nights, so I have a little me time. It was pretty warm today, but the house feels chilly, so I think the temps are going to start dropping.

Jan my DH has sihouettes. I'm quite sure they won't look major old lady. They actually look very stylish. Happy birthday to your DD. I love cheescake. There's not much I don't love when it comes to food. I actually find myself thinking about my ds starting school, all the time. I'm too obsessed with it, but It's just a really hard thing for me. But, I know I will get through it, and life will go on.

Suki the poem was really nice. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Joan it must not have been easy raising two boys alone. From the things you have told us about them, you did a great job.

Quickscrapper I don't have an exercise regime. I admire you ladies who do and stick with it.

Sas I've never made turkey meatloaf. I'll have to try that sometime.

Lisa I'll keep my fingers crossed too, for good new for your DH. We have the same type of insurance. My DS got his exam and glasses basically for $10.00 I have a really hard time reading small print now. I know I need to make an appt., but I keep putting it off.

Well I hope you ladies are enjoying your evening. I wish good sleep for everyone.

Good morning ladies,

Happy Friday!! Hope everyone is doing well today. I'm doing pretty well...it has been a busy week at work so I'm tired. My boss has been on vacation this week. So today I"m finishing things up and getting her mail organized and ready to put on her desk when I leave today. I know it will be busy on Monday. I have to leave an hour early on Monday because dd has an orthodontist appt.

Tonight I have to go get a gift card for niece's bday..she wants a gift card to Bed, Bath & Beyond...love that store. We are going out to en early dinner for her birthday tomorrow. The only other thing going on is dd has a choir event at 10:30 tomorrow morning and that is all we have planned for the weekend.

Well ladies have a great day and weekend!
