Hi ladies!

I had to get up early again! Grades k-4 hosted coffee hour at church so me and DD had to be there at 8:00. The boys and DH met us for church after. We are going out for Chinese in a bit.

twobtrue go to the pull down menu, find hystersister clubhouse, when you click on that, scroll down and you'll see date clubs.

Jan your GD sounds so cute. We are not having a super bowl party either. Sounds like you have a nice quiet day planned.

Sas I buy some of DD's dress up clothes after Halloween on the halloween costume clearance racks. I also go to thrifts stores and she does have some of my old stuff too. She likes to play restaurant too. We take turns being the customer and the waiter. DH and I like to watch the closer too. I think we've seen every episode though.

Joan that was so funny about the restaurant! It sounds like you have a fun day planned. I swear you have so much fun things to do all the time.

Lisa don't feel bad about the cupcakes. Today at coffee hour at 9:00 in the morning I had a ding dong. Nice huh? I hope you have a nice day to yourself.

Take care, I'll probably check in later.

Lisa... seriously do not feel bad about cupcakes I made oatmeal cookies and Ithink I ate at least a dozen... that was hours ago and I think I am still full and will be until tomorrow..

Cindy... OMG I have not bought ding dongs forever... they are a serious weakness of mine. mmm do you ever freeze them? mmmm yes we are pmsing huh??

Jan I am glad you let everyone know... did you send to Suki and murph? no party here the boys are at friends... DH has it on in the living room and he is doing paper work... The girls and I watched the half time show DD loves tom petty... but now I am watching more closer and thinking about cleaning my room.

Joan.. fun times at the restaurant... distress? too funny... what an observant waiter I hope you tipped good... think of all the times you can't get the waiters attention for a napkin or a refill...

Well everyone else must be whooping it up for the super bowl... I am not a fan... DH only occasionally watches... I too like the commercials sometimes but I will catch them on the news tomorrow..

So my pooch is protruding and scar is itching like crazy...I am numb around the scar still.. so its weird when I try to scratch the itch.. I am having pains on my left side where they took the ovary... just some discomfort I am thinking it could actually be like "period time" ? I think I am going to start a calendar...

well enjoy your evenings....

Hi All,

Yes I sent the message to Murph and Suki. I hope they are ok and that we get to hear from them sometime soon.

Sas I have the same problem with my scar itching. The pain in my tummy was almost gone, but this week it is back around my belly button and along the incision. Can't figure it out, I guess things must be healing. At this far out I can't imagine it is much to worry about so I just keep at it.

We got more snow this evening that came with thunder and lightning. Weird weather. I will be very glad when it turns to Spring.

Cindy Chinese sounds really good. We had chicken and mac and cheese. DH would not have liked it but the rest of the family ate it right up, even GD.

Well I hope you ladies all enjoyed your Sunday. I need to unload the dishwasher and head off to bed. Sleep well!

Good morning!

It's snowing here and the roads are already getting slippery. Today is my hot lunch day. DD has dance tonight. I haven't decided what I'm making for supper.

Sas I hadn't had a ding dong for a long time either. It was heavenly. One of the ladies brought this hostesspalooza plate. It was arranged real pretty and in the middle were two ding dongs. My friend and I were setting everything out and when we saw the ding dongs we just looked at each. Should we? She said well it has cream in the middle that's dairy right? That was good enough for me. yep I'd say we're pmsing! I've never put them in the freezer, but I have put them in the fridge. I like them when they're cold. We aren't big football fans here either. DH taped the game and we fast forwarded through the game and watched all the commercials and Tom Petty.

Jan Thanks for sending the messages to everyone about where we are. I hope Murph and Suki will see it soon. I'm with you Jan, I'll be glad for spring. The chinese food was good. I had lemon chicken and fried rice. Big DS didn't join us because he doesn't like chinese food. He stayed home and did some make up work, which was good. He's almost caught up. A few more nights, I suspect.

I hope you ladies have a good day.

Morning Ladies

Cindy I see you are on, I decided to check before I start my cleaning, vac, washing floors.
Our weather is supposed to get warmer up to almost 50 tomorrow. Ya.
No fun things planned for today, this is my stay at home day and get the house cleaned.

You know I do get to do things because my kids are gone and I am alone. Was not the way when my boys were home. I was a stay at home mom for 14 yrs tho. I did play card with my friends at night once a week until I was divorced then I had to stay home with my teen age kids. you know they need supervision. You guys seem to do your share of eating out and doing things.

Have a great day everyone

hey Joan... you deserve to have all the fun now... I can't imagine raising teen age sons alone... NOt that my DH does much other than an occasional, umm don't do that... at least I can vent on someone who loves them as much as me... I am glad it is warming up so maybe you can walk soon.. I am doing the same here cleaning maybe a wee bit of shopping..
BF quit smoking today so I may go to her house to pry cigs out of her hands... Or pry her hands off someones neck... whatever she needs..

Cindy we had our sushi saturday night... been indecisive about dinner so I asked a kid and so we are having spaghetti tonight. easy enough! I am sure your son will be so glad when he is finally caught up. My younger DS had sore throat and cough this am but he just went anyway.. DS will get her makeup work today.. fun times huh?

Did I mention my younger DS joined the Navy? He is in the delayed entry program his tentative leave date is August 26. When I was driving him to school this AM he said I can't believe I may go a whole year with out seeing everyone! It is getting weird... I was thinking only weeks... but he could be stationed anywhere... Not going to think about it... best thing for him...

Well I hope everyone has a Happy Monday... as happy as a monday can be...

Hello ladies,

Hope you all enjoyed your weekends. Ours was nice and not super busy...I like those kind of weekends.

First off thanks mrswillie...got your message about us now being on dateclub. That would be scary if we couldn't be in touch.

I got my nmarketing and Target run done on Friday evening so that felt good. Saturday got up and went to the gym. Dd went to her tutoring session and then we were home cleaning up and doing laundry. We went to mass in the evening because we were going to be busy on Sunday. Dd's best friend came to spend the night Saturday for the concert next day. They were up making posters and having fun. The concert was at noon yesterday and they had a BLAST. I had fun watching them. They just about lost their voices from screaming and singing....they were up dancing & jumping the whole time. I looked around and so was everyone else. It was a good time.

I was a little sleepy this morning...woke up at 4 and couldn't fall back asleep...I get up at 5 to get ready for work. So I stopped and got my coffee on the way in...sure needed it.

Sas - I still feel some numbness too. I had an abdominal incision...they went through my c-section scar. You're right about the cold weather and my back pain. I was hurting all weekend so I try to keep bundled up until I get a hot flash...LOL!!!

We did get rain Saturday night into yesterday mid-morning...then it was cold and windy. It is supposed to be a dry week and in the 60's.

Well work has been rather hectic - wanted to make sure and post today. Have a great day!

Hi Sisters,

Well I know I have been missing in action for the past 2 weeks here's the scoop....

On Tuesday January 22 I ended up in the Emergency room with a fever, they sent me home with Cipro and said I had a kidney infection, on thursday I called my urologist to follow up with him and since I still had a fever he told me to go back to the ER. I went they said my blood and urine were off but not enough to cause my fever or stomach pains so they took a cat scan, they thought I had an abcess that needed to be operated on. Next day I went to the special surgery folks and they said no its just fluid we will drain it and you will be fine, that was Friday. By Sunday my fever was up again and I was sick as a dog still in the hospital on IV Cipro and Flagyll (very strong antibiotics). On Tuesday they sent me back to special surgery and they placed a drain in me, the fluid coming out looked like urine so they checked to see if something got cut during my surgery back in October that made me leak urine, after 3 days of testing they concluded it wasn't urine but still had no clue what it was that is leaking.
They decided that my body is creating this fluid to protect itself against the radiation I am getting. I had my second internal radiation treatment on Friday while I was in the hospital and it knocked the heck out of me. I am still tired and want to sleep all day. I still have the drain but not much is coming out anymore, I have my last internal radiation on Wednesday and I see the trauma surgeon on Thursday we will see what needs to be done after that. They also told me I need another surgery to remove the infected section of intestines, they say I am to young to get recurring diverticulitis attacks, we will address that on Thursday also.

I have not read all the posts that I missed, I just don't have the stamina to read that much. I hope everyone is doing well, and hopefully I will talk to you guys soon!
